If you go, pay extra and get a river lot. There's also a mountain view to the north. Close to town and the Walmart but off a side road so it was more quiet. Pretty high altitude so it was in the 70's in late August, though expect rain in the afternoons. Very nice couple running the place and they had entertainment or activities almost every night - some with really good (and free) food. I almost gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the river sites are very close together, but that would not stop us from going back. AT&T and T-Mobile had good coverage.

It was a very nice campground with full hookups. People and staff were so friendly and informative. There is a lot to do in Ruidosa so this campground was close to everything. We would stay here again. ????
