I only wish all RV parks were managed and maintained as well of this wonderful park. It is small but not overly cramped. Location is great for seeing Ruidoso. Rich and Anna are excellent owners and were always available to assist.

I can’t add much to the other fabulous reviews. This is a real gem and I wish all RV parks were managed with the care to detail and excellence that Rich and Anna pour into this park.

Rich, Anna and the rest of the family have done a great job converting a run down dump to a first class place.I have a 20' Coachman towed with a Suburban and had plenty of space for both rigs side by side with room to party. My only complaint would be if I wanted to stay there again they would probably be full. Good for them, bad for me. Oh well, move on down the road to substandard digs.

We did enjoy the quiet of the park in the colder weather with only a few other rigs there but would love to stop by again when it is busier because it felt a little reminiscent of a summer camp. The showers and bathrooms were sparkling clean (and hot). The laundry was an added bonus. If you head to town, the craft cocktails at Sacred Grounds are excellent and the Sierra Blanca Brewery beers at Rio Grande Grill and Tap Room are tasty! We'll be back to explore some of the local trails, when it is a bit warmer!Cell service on all three major carriers was great; T-Mobile was at about 60mbps download!

We stayed on the lower section which I actually enjoyed. Lots of roaming elk and mule deer right on the park. I came within 10’ of one and didn’t even notice at first. The owners are awesome, the wife had helped us back in our 36’ rig. It fit with plenty of space. Site 24 was very spacious, sewer, water and electric all worked great. The only issues was the site was sloping, and not level. Our self-level jacks would not function. I had to reposition the trailer multiple times and add leveling blocks etc. we tried manually leveling and still could not get it level. It would say warning exceeded frame twist. Eventually, I just gave up and leveled good enough to be comfortable. The owners made it more than right and felt terrible it took us so long to get set up. They gave us a couple free vouchers to the local winery, which we really did appreciate. I hope they do fix the site issue before we visit again. They only have 2 washers and dryers which isn’t enough for how many campsites they have IMO. Local grocery store 2 min walk. Internet worked great. Clean spacious individual showers and restrooms with HOT water which was awesome. Lots of restaurants and local shopping since you are right next to midtown. I will say the entrance is easy to miss and local residents speed around the blind corner that the entrance is after, so just be cautious. We sat close to the road but honestly never was bothered by any noise. I would highly recommend this rv park, and if the site were level I would totally give this a 5 stars.

This one did, and we headed over, planning to stay one night only, then go out looking in the forest the next day. However, we were so happy with the campground and our little tent site, we decided to stay for the rest of our time in Ruidoso! Partly because we were tired of searching, but also because there were bathrooms and showers (and we'd been digging holes for the previous 3-4 days!)It's a small place, but very convenient in the heart of Ruidoso. It's nice and secluded though, and you'd never know you're in the middle of town (except maybe for the noisy garbage trucks that seem to start banging at 6:30 am - though if you're in an RV, you probably won't hear them as much as we did in our tents...)We plan to come back here as soon as we can and bring our pop-up trailer and stay for a while. Absolutely love this place!

This is a wonderful boutique RV park right in the heart of Ruidoso yet hidden away in the pine trees next to the river. The host, Rich, was super welcoming, the site was lovely and the bathrooms were spotless. You can’t go wrong staying here.

It was one of the cleanest RV parks that I can recall with super convenient and clean restroom facilities. Rich and Anna are really great hosts and very informative. As a biker I appreciated the information that Rich provided regarding some of the best mountain biking trails I've ridden. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Ruidoso, NM. The closeness to Mechem Street provided a bit of noise but it was not particularly objectionable at all. Was originally scheduled to stay only 2 nights but extended for another 3.

We we first pulled up the owner himself greeted us and assisted us as we backed up into our spot. It was a little nerve wracking being our 2nd time out and never having visited before. Sure enough, with assistance from the owner I was able to back up my rig in about 10 minutes and get it set up with out any problems whatsoever. The camp ground was neat and orderly and a very family friendly environment. Keep in mind this RV camp ground is in the heart of town so road noise is noticeable, but not unpleasant. The location is convenient to town and a stones throw from the shopping district of Ruidoso. We were able to meet some wonderful folks who were also new to RV'ing and had young families. I do recommend this campground as a great place to visit. Oh, and by the way, the wireless internet is AMAZING!

We were initially nervous since new and no reviews at the time. The new owners, Rich and Anna, did a complete overhaul on the place... all new utilities, larger sites, bought additional land for longer 30x60 sites, installed WiFi, etc. I love that they kept some of the historic charm including the original sign. So we took a chance and it paid off! The owners were out of town when we stayed here, but loved the hospitality Laura showed. She gave us some history on the place and the owners and recommended some great spots in town. If you are in the area we highly recommend this place. Their hospitality alone is a reason to stop, and being right in the middle of town and walkable is a bonus! We came during a slow period, so we were able to stay with our smaller travel trailer in a lower level longer site, Site 26. The rate was $45 a night for full hook ups and strong WiFi. Make sure to visit Grindstone Lake for a beautiful hike and The Village Butter for lunch after!
