Rocky informed us the WiFi was down, which we didn’t need, and offered to bring out a cable box for our use. If we didn’t have a reservation somewhere else, we would have stayed an additional night to explore more of the area. Thank you, Rocky!

The pros were the screaming wifi, the affordable and clean laundromat, and the nicest owner/ campground host I have ever met! He did honor the previously listed rate, because it was a very slow time of the year and mid-week, but he asked that I please correct the rate to reflect $32 plus tax.The downside of the park is it can be a little noisy with road noise. And there is no bathroom/shower house. I typically prefer boondocking, and come in only when I am in need of services, including a long, hot, continuously flowing shower. It was a bit disappointing after spending 2 months in the forest to learn I would need to shower in my own rig. The kindness and hospitality of Rocky outweighed any inconvenience, however.

  • He treated us like family!

We travel the country with our three youngest kids of six. We were blessed to adopt our youngest kiddos from foster care as special needs adoptions. These three kiddos are very curious and talkative, and Rocky/Norma treated them so wonderfully that my youngest created as we pulled away at the end of the week. We pinky promised that we will return in the summer. We had everything we needed. FHU worked great and the wifi worked better than any RV park we have visited so far! I liked that we were just at the edge of town, away from the commercialism. It was an easy 5 minutes to Walmart, restaurants, hiking trails, and a place for the kids to roll in the snow for free.We would love to come by again!

The stay was great. Clean sites, easy access. Rocky was super friendly when booking reservation, gave great directions when we were in town. Walked over with us to the site. Will stay again.
