There are laundry facilities on site, and the hosts were very kind and attentive to our questions. The sites were very well maintained. Most people it seemed use this as a sleeping point to go out and do their adventuring, so while there were many other rigs around, it was very quiet around the campground.
Close to FUN!

It's a friendly campground with good owners and enough room between campsites to be comfortable. We have a 20 foot TT and had no problem leveling it. The restrooms are clean and the laundry area is roomy and clean. Our site backed up into the woods between the campground and the highway. There was no road noise at all and the view out our back window was pretty. We would stay here again.
Peaceful and close to everything in Custer.

Wooded and friendly environment.Site: Not level. Needed lots of finessing to get close to level. Site backed right up to a fantastic hiking path. Location: So much to do and see within 15-30 min. Restaurants, groceries, and gas stations all within 5 minutes.Wifi: Had trouble connecting to the park provided WiFi.

Stayed 3 nights in July. Great location as base to see the area and relax. Most sites have great shade from tall pines. Can be a bit dusty and roads are a bit rough but that keeps traffic slowed down. People in office were nice. Park looks well kept And there are also cabins that look nice and a ton of tent camping spots. We have a 3...moreStayed 3 nights in July. Great location as base to see the area and relax. We stayed at Custer Mountain for the month of July. It was a very nice place with lots of pine trees. They have many cabins for non rv'ers, and several full hookup sites for rv's. The staff is great and the place is clean. It has access to the Mickelson Trail system, and is just a couple miles from the Custer State Park west entrance. ...moreWe stayed at Custer Mountain for the month of July. Good cell coverage and wonderful scenery.
