The people we met in dry camp, they had 2 big slides and said they were stuck in dry camp as they were too wide to fit in main camping area…for those of you who are really wide. Staff was super friendly. Wifi only worked when in main drive entrance, could not/would not work while in trailer. Did not use the 2 bathrooms that are available as we are self contained and happy to use our own stuff. Would stay here again.

  • Great small park in the heart of Custer.

She lists information that she does not raise prices during big events, so at least there is that...The park itself is pretty small and is actually bordering another park, but it was nice, the spots were okay but nothing special. Full hookups though the locations of the hookups were so far front in the space that it took a lot of our extensions to hook up our big rig. Site was very level though and that was helpful. 2 bathrooms that worked okay but were a bit dated. No laundry and the nearby laundromat took a bit of driving to get to.Great wifi by the way!Good spot to be able to walk to the town, to the 2 nearby parks, or to the supermarket. Driving to the popular nearby things (Crazy Horse, Mount Rushmore, Jewel Cave, Wind Cave, or Custer State Park for example) was very close and simple to get to.We would stay again, though the spot was a little tight for something as big as we have, but the kids loved the nearby parks and all the deer we saw.

  • It is yet another RV park

Nothing really outstanding with any RV park and this one fits the bill. Some big-rig pull through spots with full hookups and some tent camping in the back along the creek. Some big-rig pull through spots with full hookups and some tent camping in the back along the creek. Creek-side is where we stayed, with only 30-amp service required to run the AC for our stay. The place is well kept, has a few bathrooms (including showers) and an every-friday-night potluck dinner for the inhabitants (which I like).Only a block off the downtown strip, it is easy to go explore and enjoy Custer. Custer State Park is only a few minutes away, Crazy Horse and Rushmore are within 30 minutes, and of course Jewel Cave is 10 minutes away too (Wind Cave is about 45 minutes away). A great base-camp spot to see all the sights.
