The campground was filled with broken down RVs, it was dirty and rundown, there was trash on the ground, lights and picnic tables were broken, and piles of junk were all over. The owner or manager was difficult to find and when he did appear he was barely dressed. It is very close to the highway and loud. If we weren’t so tired we would have kept going. If we could give less than zero stars we would.

Paid $20 for 30 amps with Escapees discount.Stayed for a night on our way to White Sands National Monument. Park itself is just A-OK, but the people there are really nice which makes for a pleasant stay.Pros:- friendly staff- good WiFi- easy access from highway- fishing pond (I caught our dinner; doesn't get much fresher than that!)Cons:- some highway noise- had to dig through leaves to get to water hookup
