There is a pavilion with picnic tables and BBQ grills but almost no space between sites. The sites are level and easy to get into and out of. The entrance is newly paved and they are adding more sites. The bathrooms and laundry rooms are spacious and clean. This is not a destination resort, but a nice place to stay if you need to be in the area. The included wifi does not extend to the back of the park, but we were able to stream through a TMobile phone and with our Sprint hotspot. We are 45" semi trailer pulled by a Volvo semi truck, so it's a tight fit.

This is a great stop over spot for a long trip to Florida. Was clean and lots of grass. Not a destination spot but great for a quick layover. Bathrooms clean, laundry, and very quiet.

  • Good price for an overnight stay in quaint Thomasville

Not sure the history since then, but we stayed at the park in early December, 2019 so it's now open again.Paid $36 for a single night stay with a Good Sam discount. Full hookups (30amp, water, sewer) BUT... our 50amp connection was throwing a low voltage error so we switched to 30amp which worked. We arrived late in the evening and the gentleman opened the office for us to let us in, so we opted to just deal with the lower 30amp instead of moving spots or trying to fix it since we didn't really have a lot of power needs for the evening. We stayed in site 40.It's a small park and it appears more than half the spots are full-time occupants, but it's clean and easy enough to navigate. The sites are wide enough to have slides out and still have walking room, but it's not the most spacious park. The bathrooms are clean. We liked that the Christmas trees being sold just next door added a bit of Christmas smell in the air.Finding the park is a bit tricky since it's located off a narrow road that angles behind the gas station. You almost miss the road if you don't pay attention and know when to turn. And the entrance to the park is a bit tricky to get into with a big rig (we have a 42ft 5th wheel). We took it slow and missed each side of the gate by just a couple feet as we swung out into the road. Luckily it's not a busy road so you can take your time.Another minor complaint was the sand. The park is covered in low-cut grass but it has a lot of sand as if you were on a beach. The kids tracked in quite a bit of sand in the trailer so we swept up a few times.Overall, it was a good price for a quick overnight stay. Close to downtown Thomasville with the Big Oak and the historic sites. Be sure to eat at Jonah's. Best southern food we've ever had!
