Must make reservation for site ahead of time but it appears it is a free for all if reservations are not at the park by 7:00pm since sign at entrance says must make reservation before 7:00 but after 7:00 just choose a site. Not great if you are arriving late and someone is on your site. Close to interstate but not too noisy. The night we were there (3/19/22) the park was full and the campground sites were level and relatively well kept. Non-existent washroom/shower facilities - one small room with toilet/sink that was filthy. Clubhouse with pool table locked the whole time we were there. Small dog run that my dog liked but unkept. Relatively quite exit with a few fast food places and a couple of gas stations. It is definitely not a destination park but I would stay here again on an overnight as part of journey.

Easy access, small. noise near highway is con, but after driving all day great place to stop. Truck stop across highway, fuel up before going to campground, logistics of getting around. Have relative that lives down the road, so will stay again when we visit.

Cons: We literally had the most unlevel site we have had with our current rig including state parks and boondocking. We needed a lot of blocks to even come close and had to unhook for a one-night stop, which is annoying. Our site had almost no yard and no picnic table. In order to have room to open our slides and not hit the water spigot, our electric cord would not reach, so we couldn’t even plug in - an issue we have never had. The vibe is not very welcoming as there are signs on the way in that essentially threaten to slash truckers tires if the park on that road. Awareness: there is political signage on the fence and a bible verse on the park sign. Some may like, some may not. Something to know.

As others have said no showers just a bathroom, luckily I didn't need a shower. Because it is next to an exit, there are some intense overhead lights from the entrance ramp. My site was pretty unlevel. I can see that this park is used a lot for Florida State football games, maybe year around or just in the fall. I stayed during a weekday and it was quiet.

Check in was at the contact free kiosk and then found our well marked and easy to enter pull-thru spot. Some of the spots were rather large with a picnic table and plenty of room to set up camp. Ours was fairly close to our neighbor for the evening but still comfortable. The sites are all gravel filled and not quite level but no big effort to overcome. Services were all well maintained and set up was a breeze. Decent water pressure and solid power for our 50 amp FW. Verizon signal was STRONG. Full bars with 97mbps down and 36mbps upload speeds. OTA selections were limited. Park WIFI available but did not need to use it. About the only downside was the traffic noise from the Interstate. Not all that offensive, but a light sleeper may want to think twice about getting their peaceful nights sleep here. Almost forgot....Lamont is a fast food mecca! MickeyD's, Arby's, Hardee's all within walking distance of the campground.

Right off of I-10, easy to get in and out of all pull through sites. Dog park area. Late night on-site kiosk reservation system. Convenience stores and gas stations right there. I-10 isn't very busy in that area, but it's still a major highway with expected road noise.

Due to Covid, the clubhouse was closed. The person I spoke with by phone to make a reservation was very kind. She helped us choose a site appropriately for our length etc. The sites can handle big rigs with tow cars. Some sites are long enough to not have to unhook if just staying overnight.Pull through sites with FHUs, including water, 30 & 50 amp power, sewer and WiFi signal. It worked too. No cable but lots of OTA channels. Verizon and ATT both work here. Nice landscaping at the park. Long dog runs. Several fast food restaurants and gas stations at the same exit. Road noise could be an issue for some since the park is just off I-10. The park accepts Good Sam and military discounts. This was a good stop for us.

We stayed here both coming and going from central Florida to the panhandle. This is right off hwy 10 just “a stones throw”. It has full hookups and pretty level sites some pull through. No amenities but for an overnight was perfect. Will stay again vs trying to find a walmart. Great wifi and our 45 ft a class was easy in and out.

There was no one else there and frankly we wondered if we’d been scammed! However we put our electric meter on the pole and saw it was working fine, turned on the water and realized everyone was probably across the highway at the other park. The sites were level enough for our 40’ fiver, and the grounds were fairly well maintained. We did not try the WiFi but saw the owners had written the password on a sign inside what I assume was the office. You are right next to I10 but we couldn’t really hear the road noise. Also there are gas stations and a McDonald’s right where you pull into the little road leading here. We are coming back this way the end of September and will stay here again. The photos for this site are accurate and represent this campground.

At this price for full hookups, and conveniently located just off the freeway, it worked out well for us for one night. Certainly not a destination rv spot. Friendly, low key place. If you require a more upscale facility, go down the road to a Jellystone rv park for $61!
