Stayed for 9 months while working in Tallahassee and it served its purpose wonderfully. It didn’t have a ton of bells and whistles but was half the cost of other campgrounds. It’s very quiet. The pool was nice. The staff worked with me nicely when checking in/out and setting up monthly payments.

This campground is big and the sites are comfortable but the roads are in bad shape and the entire campground has seen better days. The pool is slimy and gooey and the bathrooms are old and rustic also unheated. There are cabins and permanent mobile homes. When it rained the main road stayed flooded for days and since they were unpaved they became rutted mud holes. The staff were from another planet. They were friendly enough but strange and unhelpful. In fact,we were pretty much ignored the entire time. It felt like they were running an empty campsite and we were just ghosts they tolerated. We searched for other places in the area but pickings were slim. The only reason we'd go back is because sometimes it's nice to be left alone especially after a month long stay at a soup Nazi like park like the one we stayed prior to coming here. Whispering Palms in Sebastian Fl. if you must know.If you get hungry, there's a box of doughnuts in the office every morning. Do your laundry somewhere else. The washing machines need to be cleaned before use and the dryers take a few cycles to damp dry your clothes. Get your propane somewhere else too!
