Our site was not ideal, located behind laundry & old trailer But most all of the other sites would be great. Staff was friendly, laundromat is clean (and convenient for us!) and we did have partial view of surrounding “red rocks” .Ask for a site in the “main” part of the park.

There's a fun restaurant right across the highway and another just down the road. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub and appreciated the clean laundry room. Site 611 is closest to the highway so it is very loud and doesn't really quiet down at nigh. This is a nice site as it's on the end, with a large yard, and extra parking. The wifi never really worked for us.

The temperatures were in the 110s while we were there. The sites are pretty packed-in; we felt like sardines. But other RV parks in this area are no different. And these sites had trees and a (albeit postage-stamp sized) patch of lawn. The big positives for us were the pool, the clean bathrooms and showers, and the shade. The pool and hot tub area had plenty of seating, and a lot of shade, so we could take a dip and then watch the kids play. The showers and bathrooms were generously sized and clean. I never waited to use one. The trees and lawn were meticulously watered every morning, and it shows. It makes a difference on the microclimate in the hot temps we were experiencing. There were a million rules about the sites that supported their meticulous watering, like no pitching things to the lawn, and there were also lots and lots of rules about pets. We brought our 30-lb puppy, and I understand that there are a lot of negligent pet owners that make posting pages of rules necessary, but I wish that the pet area at Spanish Trail was shady and had grass too - I felt bad for our pup that she had no grassy area for her paws other than our tiny site, as it was HOT on the gravel and she didn't have many options. Otherwise, I thought access to the sights of Moab and shops in town was quite good from this RV park, and we would definitely opt to stay here again given the positives and lack of good options around.

When we arrived driveway was full of snow and ice that had not been plowed. All of the rows and spaces were covered in snow and not plowed or cleared for guests. If you stay here know that your rig will be in the snow entire time. Full service hook up. Other then the mountains that surround this place it wasn’t all that special. Very average but fine for one night. Gets really cold so be prepared. It got to 8 degrees overnight while we were there.

We were able to get one of the spots closer to the bath house and office which seemed to have a little larger trees. There is a nice patch of grass that is well maintained in front of each site. Our pull through site was fairly level and did not requite a lot of leveling. The bathrooms here are wonderful. Individual rooms house a shower, toilet and sink. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. They were well kept. The laundry room was also very nice. 6 washers and 7 dryers. All were clean and appeared to be in good working order. We were able to do several loads and once which is a great time saver. The pool and hot tub looked wonderful - that being said we did not make use of it.Cell service seems quite adequate and actually we had to use it much more than we would have liked as the WiFi here is terribly intermittent. I did stop by the office and talked with management about the WiFi and was told everything was working fine. I can tell you for certain it was NOT. Road noise is what you would expect for a park located along a major highway.

Very basic spots, some with shade, many without. I will say the bathrooms were really great, big with private rooms for each shower and toilet. But WiFi was weak and, though we never really want cable TV, when it's offered as part of what you're paying for it ought to work. Theirs did not. And there were kids riding electric minibikes up and down the drives and thorough sites. I'm not a "GET OFF MY YARD" kind of person, but this was annoying and I was concerned for their safety. When I went inside the office to discuss checkout, the young lady was just as nice as she was when we had arrived. But some older man was sitting behind her and stared at me like I had been featured on a flier in the post office. It was so uncomfortable i even asked him if everything was alright. He muttered something about the afternoon rain and I was glad to make my escape! Sad to say we will not stay here again.

Right off the Hwy 191 and across from gas station. A little pricey so we took advantage of the very nice pool during 100' weather everyday to justify the cost. lol.. Not very busy during the week but weekends is full. Place is well maintained. Staff is friendly. Super clean bathrooms, almost seems new and also good laundry facilities. Site is relatively level, with slight slope to the front pull thru that we were in. Most are pull thru's and plenty of room for us even with a 16' enclosed trailer. I recommend staying to the back behind the club house or near the front by the club house as there are more mature trees which will provide better shade during summer months. The location was approximately 3-4 miles from town, but easy access to Hell's Revenge and Sand Flats 4x4 riding area if you have a Polaris SXS like we do. We recommend driving to Kane Creek Blvd. which is 3 miles up the road heading towards town. This road runs along the Colorado River for some spectacular views and picture opportunities, especially when the pavement turns to dirt; easily manageable with a car or suv as it appears to be well maintained, but eventually gets rough. Cellular reception is good for both AT&T and Verizon for us that are still working remotely.

The staff is SOOOO nice! At one point I had a problem with the cable hookup and instead of just turning me away, the woman at the front got a portable TV and cable and we came and tested the connection, wires, etc. and got it all working. Multiple times she went out of her way to show me things instead of just pointing and telling me.They have a new pool this year and hot tub and they are great! The only downside here is this park is on the far side of Moab from the National Parks and most of the attractions. So if you are just in town a day or 2 to see a park, maybe stay closer, but otherwise this is well worth it!Oh yeah, free wifi was pretty good. When it worked, it was solid and fast!

We really love Dead Horse State Park, but we can't always get in there. Spanish trail has good facilities and has expanded. The large, mature trees at each site are great and having a slice of grass in the desert is my favorite thing about this park (only in the establish, older sections). It sounds silly, but a picnic table with grass and shade is great for relaxing and our dog loves to lounge there. There is a new restaurant just a few doors down that has Sushi and Thai - a few minute walk. There are great trails nearby in the neighborhood behind the park. There is a gated dog section but also a walk around the perimeter of most of the park. The wifi has a good signal and so does Verizon. It's close to the road, but it's not to loud if you are a few rows back. They take Good Sam and are nice people. It's a little farther away from Moab, but only 5 minutes by car. Moab is getting pretty busy, so this buffer is good in my opinion. I still think Dead Horse is the best place to stay for a peaceful setting with great trails and views, but it's nice to have a guaranteed spot and wifi for work when you arrive. We have a wilson booster and pepwave router with exterior antennas so our connections were great.
