When I would call I got this rant about covid and if we were caught not wearing a mask we would be ask to leave. When we got there...no masks to be seen anywhere. Not even the owner! While there, plans changed. We went and talked to the owner...” oh, no problem”. We thought we were all set and we left for the day. We had not been gone but 15 minutes and I get a call ....” did you know, your supposed to leave today”...I reminded her that we had talked about the extra day. They had not put the change in the computer...so they didn’t remember. My son had misplaced his bathroom key and tried to get another one. They close the office at 6:00 pm. No emergency contact or number. So the next morning at 8:00am tried to get one again..we were told they don’t turn their computer on until 9am. The night before there was a broken dryer in the laundry room...so the owner was quite grouchy. We were parked next to their permanent residences. There were weeds ever where, no grass....the sites were not even close to being level.

  • It was an ok campground

When you pull and it almost appears like you’re staying in a mobile home park. Giving the whole place kind of a rundown vibe. It didn’t really seem to be in a convenient location it was away from everything So it was a little bit of a treck to get to anything we wanted to do. Due to the Covid outbreak all of the bathrooms and shower houses were closed but they still decided to charge you full price even though you couldn’t use most of their amenities. We were a family of seven traveling in a travel trailer with a very small shower and a small water heater it’s just not possible for all of us to shower in our camper. After spending the day riding utv’s in the heat with all the dirt and sweating we all needed showers very badly. Honestly it just would’ve been nice if they would let us know prior to arriving so that we can make other accommodations. Our Internet that they provided didn’t work so we had to use ours that we had which is no big deal but if they offer it would be nice if it actually worked. Our site was incredibly unlevel which was also frustrating. They make sure to say to pick up after your pets they even provide the bags or if you dont you pay a fine but when we got to our site we noticed some dog turds around the picnic table so they are clearly not checking the sites every time after people check out and we had two small dogs and didn’t want to get blamed sonwe had to pick up after somebody else’s dog which is frustrating. Overall I feel like we just paid way too much for A dirt lot with a little bit of gravel and a bunch of amenities we were not allowed to use.

  • Great experience

I was a little skeptical pulling in because it looked like a mobile home park and a lot of the permanent resident campers were kind of an eye sore, but the lady that helped me check in was very nice and helpful and once I got out to my spot it was all good. They actually gave me a reusable canvas bag with the campground logo on it because apparently most places in Moab won't give out plastic bags, so I thought that was really nice. My site was a pull-through with full hookups and was kind of away from the permanent residents. It wasn't very busy when I was here so most of the time I didn't have anyone next to me, but I could see it being crowded if the park was full. All of the amenities at this park were amazing. There are trash cans and dog bags all over the park and a nice dog run area in the back corner. The wifi was blazing fast (maybe because I was right next to the antenna and there weren't many campers here) and I didn't have to use my cell hotspot the whole time I was here. The laundry facility was also very nice and had 3 washers and 4 dryers. And the showers were probably the best part. They were large tiled showers with a ton of pressure and hot water, which was so nice after long days of hiking. The only negative thing I could really say about this place (which isn't really even the parks fault) is that the mobile homes next door could get kind of loud sometimes. Dogs barking, loud music early in the morning and late at night, etc. It wasn't enough for me to dock a star from the overall rating though. Staying here for a week was a really great experience.

The staff was very nice, the campground was very clean, and the neighbors were quiet aside from some stray children at the playground. Very cramped sites however, the RVs were practically touching in some spots. The shower house was great! The showers were clean and the water ran a consistent temperature and had a good pressure. Coin laundry was available as well, about $2.00-$3.00 a load depending on the settings. This is also off the main drag of Moab so a little more quiet, we liked not being right in the middle of town. wifi available too.

  • Cheap, safe, and the wifi is decent. What else do you need?

Campground hosts are nice. We stayed for four days last week. Good access to Moab proper and Arches National Park. The park is safe and very quiet in the evenings. Would definitely stay again.

It’s sort of nestled in a residential area of sorts. At first, we thought it was a bit sketchy, but once through the long term inhabitants, the campground opens up and is fairly nice. We were with a group, and the group sites are at the far end. Restrooms there consisted of a portapotty, it was a handicap accessible one so at least it was spacious. We were secluded way back there, nice and quiet! We pitched our tent among the Russian olive trees. There was some nearby plywood and other discarded items, I drug over the plywood and made a sand free “front porch”. Like I said, a weird little place. It wasn’t dirty, but a bit rough around the edges. I will say the owners were working on updating things while we were there. (May of 2016)

We were hesitant to stay here at first as the front looks like a mobile home park, but after driving to our sites (31 & 34) we felt more comfortable as we were surrounded by other short term RVers. Both of our sites had shade which was necessary in this heat even with A/C. I’d recommend site 34 as my first choice for rigs of our size (28ft travel trailer) as it is a pull through, but 31 was fine too as long as you parked the truck in the overflow lot. Showers were hot and they had laundry on site (only one washer worked), but can’t really complain for $30 per night with hookups.
