Still has a comfortable low key vibe and - can it be !? - the WiFi is very good. Yes, as ‘tight’ as any other place we’ve been. Biggest ‘con’ is the Hwy 89 truck traffic, which comes in all shapes and sizes, and is mere feet from the park and non-stop. Best feature according to the pooch is the very large ATV park one block to the south. Great for exercising and in 3 visits here we’ve never seen it used otherwise. 5% fee break with some affiliations. Excellent hardware store and two very good Mexican restaurants nearby. Large, good general grocery and also a large off-brand grocery are each one block away as is a car/RV wash and laundry business. This location is more the ‘working’ end of town than the northern entrance, which serves most RV’ers well. The very modern La Quinta is only two blocks away, if you want to engineer a rendezvous here with non- RV friends or family. We hold tremendous respect for the owner and senior mechanics at the NAPA Auto Care Center here (also known as Ramsey Towing). First class operation.

We stopped in Kanab on our way to Cedar City from the Grand Canyon. Great location, easy pull though. The spots are definitely tight but the owners/workers were very nice and helpful getting us in. AMAZING water pressure, much needed after boondocking for 3 days!

  • Perfect spot from which to enjoy Kanab!

Great "little" RV park!! Located within an easy walk of all Kanab has to offer which is a lot for a small town. If you are there for Best Friends as we were, it is only 5 miles north of town. Getting in and out could be a problem for "big" coaches otherwise we can highly recommend!

  • Super nice owners -- super cramped spots

Stayed at unhooked spot, camp host couple are very nice and helpful. Have fire pits and hot water shower in the heated bathroom, like it. Right next to a laundromat.

l did not stay here but I did use his dump station. He only charges $8 for the use and you can fill your fresh water. The owner is real nice and helpful and the place is nice and clean.

RV park is small but is in a great location in downtown Kanab. Lots of options for dining, shopping or exploring the area. RV spots are tight but they come with fire pits, table and chairs. Doug was a wonderful host and made the stay even better. We’ll be back.

A little noisy on street.

  • This is the kind of park that truly demonstrates the importance of good customer service.

It's right in the middle of the town and we typically walked everywhere, including to the BLM office that handles the Wave lottery and several nice little restaurants. The town is just 15 minutes away from Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, within an hour of some fantastic slot canyons, and about 90 minutes from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.RVs are parked right next to each other and the whole campground is tiny. You will be looking directly at your neighbor's RV and I don't think we could have put our awning out if we tried. There are several trees which create a little bit of ambiance, but the privacy situation is pretty lousy. While our site was level, our small picnic table looked pretty old and dirty. The campground's wifi was very good and we had no issues with our AT&T hotspot. You have to call for reservations and if you pay by credit card, they charge you extra, so we paid by check, but, their awesome customer service made up for any weaknesses in this category. We are endlessly amazed at what a difference friendly customer service makes. We chatted with one of the camp-hosts, Doug, several times across our week long stay and he just could not have been nicer or more helpful. Great customer service really does have such an impact and his friendliness and excitement about all that Kanab has to offer was contagious. This could be an entirely forgettable park - it's small, cramped, offers little privacy, etc. But, it's located in a perfect spot, within walking and driving distance of many places of interest, and the customer service was incredibly friendly and helpful, leaving us with an overall positive impression. Even though the campground isn't much more than a small parking lot, it was always quiet, the place was well maintained, and the staff were warm and engaging. We would stay here again.

Pizza place named Lotsa Mozza is right next door, and fills the park with heavenly aromas. Clean showers. Grocery store, and mc Donald's are within walking distance. The only downside was the traffic on the Main Street was sometimes loud when large trucks go through, but that seemed to stop at night. Stay here....My heart stayed in Kanab, and if you like small, quaint towns full of friendly people, than yours probably will too.
