We found it very easily and they had a great system to get checked in after hours. The lot was nice and level and we didn't have to unhook from our tow vehicle for one night. They have a little dog park which was good for our dog to romp off-leash for a little while. We walked down to Lum's BBQ which is only about 3 tenths of a mile away. Sadly, they were out of meat. Seriously. Out. My advice would be to call ahead if you want to walk down there. Overall, I really liked this park. I wish we had more time to go into town. I'd love to return to Junction, TX but doubt that we will ever be back this way with the camper. It looks to be a really cool little town online.

We stayed here 1 night. Drove past it, not knowing the name changed to 10/83 RV Park. We called and were able to be in the site within a few minutes.Staff was very friendly. The grounds are well kept. Site is level gravel. Picnic table and fire pit available. Bathrooms are spotless. Very quiet area.Would stay again no problem.

Easy access and very friendly folks. Sites are long and wide and generally very level. Best of all, you can walk to one of the best bbq restaurants in Texas. It’s called Lum’s. The brisket is the best I have ever had.

This park was extremely swampy and our whole rig got caked in mud from just one night here. There is nothing nearby on this long stretch of highway, so I guess that’s why they charge so much. I wouldn’t even stop here over night again.

If you need propane, its right across the street at Junction fuels. It is a bit noisy as it it is not far off of Interstate 10. There is a medical facility close by, so you will have a helicopter buzz over for a medevac ever now and then.

Our site was gravel and level enough that we were able to just park without blocks. Utilities all worked fine and we loved vegging out with cable TV after a long day of driving. We were visiting the park relatively late in the season, just before Thanksgiving, so it was pretty empty. Still, we thought sites were reasonably spaced and were definitely long enough to accommodate us without having to unhitch for the night. We had a shade shelter over our picnic table but it seemed most sites did not. As is typical for private parks, there is not much privacy between sites but there are trees which add a nice sense of nature to the park. The river runs right by the park. The highway is not too far away but we didn't notice any significant highway noise. Since we only stopped for the overnight visit we didn't explore the area, but there were plenty of gas stations right at the highway and a few restaurants.

Have mixed feelings about this park – I think if they just tidied it up a bit it would be a nice park. It is on the river but not necessarily a pretty section of it. There are quite a few long term RVs that seem to be in one section. They looked neat enough though. There was some traffic noise but it wasn’t too bad. Not sure if we would stay here again or not.

I called several places along the way and they were the first ones to say they accepted reservations. We arrived after 7pm and were a little lost. We arrived in April. Access from I-10 is easy. When we arrived, everyone was out for lunch! Per instructions provided at the door and our preregistration packet, we were able to self-check-in. When we arrived, everyone was out for lunch! Per instructions provided at the door and our preregistration packet, we were able to self-check-in. As we walked back to our RV, staff showed up and escorted us to our site. Since this park is close to the interstate, in the middle of Texas, travelers appear to stay 1 or 2 nights and depart, like us. We noticed many RVers pull into the park and not detach their toad and leave in the morning. Phone coverage was adequate; WiFi connection was good. I was able to work a few hours, check email, social media with no issues. The only negative. I know...we are in Texas and we lived in Texas for many years, but it is dusty when dry. April is windy. The wind and dust may make it difficult to be outside for some people.

Sites are gravel and many have a small patio with a pergola and two Adirondack chairs. Very nice touch. We also had a grill and firepit. The park is located along the river. We were surprised how quiet it was being rather close to the road. Great park! The only downside was the total lack of cell service with Verizon. We showed extended service and 1x with three bars, but nothing worked. The park WiFi worked well though!
