Some of our favorite types of sites are when you are parked close enough to the water that when you are inside you question if you are actually on land or your rig magically became a boat- and this is how a lot of the sites are at this park. The park definitely has a “resort” vibe with all paved pads and full hook ups and fancy pools and palapas to hang out in. It also has a marina if you want yo bring your boat or can launch kayaks as well (I think they even had some you could use). The park is located in between Houston and Galveston making it easy to visit both while not having to stay in the city or a super touristy area. There are stores 10 minutes away with everything you could need.We had adequate speeds for working with AT&T, so we never checked on Verizon. The park also has WiFi where they literally hand you a router to use for your site- we didn’t take advantage of this service. There are some narrow roads with tight turns on the way to the park, good news is there’s almost never anyone else on you. There’s tons of big rigs in the park so it should be doable for just about anyone.
