After being approached by two people at Walmart, who appeared to be struggling with addiction issues (house burned down, rotted teeth - I'm a substance abuse counselor, so making a judgement here), I was thankful for Pierce RV park. It is a really nice place with permanent residents and high end RV's. Clean, flat parking and Mr Pierce (host and owner) is a true Southern gentleman. Very quiet, green, restful place. I just wish we had time to stay longer!

Great little campground, full hookup (water, electric, dump at each site [didnt expect dump since other reviews didn’t mention it), quiet, “mobile home” aspect was a non-factor, a couple full-timers that live there with really nice RV’s. If you need an overnight spot, especially one close to OBX, this is it.
