None of the facilities are new or pristine, but everything worked fine. Again, for the price, I can’t complain. There are two pools, which were clean and well kept. They had a small slide in one pool. There were several playgrounds throughout the campground, a 9-hole mini golf course, arcade, pond with peddle boats and kayaks, nature trail, and a par-3 golf course. The camp store had all of the amenities you’d need: firewood, ice, a small selection of pantry items, and souvenirs. It’s definitely a rustic, woodsy campground, and the sites are pretty closely spaced, but overall it’s a fun place to visit, especially on a budget. For about $30/night work full hookups, I couldn’t ask for more.

Had to sleep with no ac as electricity was so bad we were afraid of burning up our AC unit. Bad roads! Bad electricity! Really a dump! Camp at your own risk!

Nice campground with plenty to do from pasture golf, miniature golf, tennis, basketball, and pond. Little crowded even in November. Full hookups. Very friendly staff. Worked well to camp and go to beaches one day and Raleigh the next day. Could use some upgrades but generally a nice spot.

Storage was beside a corn field in a mowed grassy area with about 3 other travel trailers. Cost was very reasonable at $1.75/day. We wouldn't hesitate to repeat this plan for storage in the future. We arrived late and the office was still open going on 10 pm. A storm had just blown through so things were pretty muddy setting up. Our site and many of the sites along the pond are not level. Our neighbor next door said he had trouble all weekend getting his sewer to drain since the sewer was uphill in his site. We needed one night stay and wanted hookups to run our AC. This campground met those needs. The campground map says this family campground has been around for 50 years. Things were clean but a bit run down. Sites are grass/dirt and unlevel. Most campers are left here permanently with decks an storage sheds on sites. Age of rigs didn't seem to be an issue. Campsites are close together and offer no privacy. We would stay for a night, but because of the lack of privacy wouldn't stay much longer. The campground offers a church service on Sunday, pool, playground, fishing pond, paddle boats, mini golf, and trails.
