The front desk guy was friendly and helpful. It appears that most people live there and they have their junk around their RV’s covered with blue tarps. Not a beautiful park, but it is shaded and directly behind the Jefferson Home and Presidential Library, across from the Convention Center, and a block from the public beach. I rode my bicycle to the beach. The cell tower is on the property, so the signal almost jumps over you.

Easy in and easy out. This is an older park with many permanent RV's. It was clean and well kept, with paved and blacktop sites. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because the office is hardly open and I got lucky when calling a week ahead to make reservations because he answered the phone and told me to just come on in without a ...moreEasy in and easy out. This is an older park with many permanent RV's. It was clean and well kept, with paved and blacktop sites. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because the office is hardly open and I got lucky when calling a week ahead to make reservations because he answered the phone and told me to just come on in without a reservation. Two days before arriving I started calling to verify a space and never could get an answer and mailbox was always full. We took the chance to come on in and luckily he was in the office when we arrived. Had it not been open we would have had to leave not knowing where to park. The office was closed the rest of the time we were there. He could probably have the park full if he would stay there and answer the phone!
