I'm not sure what the criteria is for calling an RV campground a "resort" but this is not a resort in my book. The only reason I would stay here again is because it is close to our friend's house we came to visit (less than 2 miles away). The campground is dog friendly but they don't enforce their rule of how many pets are permitted. We had a couple with 9 chihuahua's next to us and they never ever stopped barking. Luckily that was only 2 nights. Overall, if this place is super convenient to a specific place you are looking to visit, it is fine to stay but otherwise, keep searching.

  • Relaxing for the most part:)

The cons: this is an older RV park (I would not call it a resort), the bar across the street with live music every single night until 10pm, the sites were difficult to get into without driving on the sand on one side when turning into the site (for rigs that are over 30 feet long but it was still doable for us) we had to use our blocks to make a hard surface to avoid going into the sandy area on one side, the trees need to be trimmed (we saw a few Class As get some scratches on the side of their rig). This place does need a bit of TLC but overall we liked it.We would definitely stay again, the staff was super nice and accommodating. You can receive mail there. There is also a pool and you are close enough to the main area of Panama City Beach if you wanted to go out.Dogs are not allowed on the beach but when we were there in March, you could take them in the earlish morning for a stroll on the beach and saw a lot of people doing that. There is a Dog Beach at the Pier Park which was really fun, it is supposed to be a leashed beach but 90% of the dogs were off leash. Go there in the morning or you will get stuck in traffic.

No way to edit my review, so I’m adding this statement.I found a live electric wire running from the main panel across the area between our site and 51. This is a definite safety hazard! We had called and left 2 messages about the WiFi and never received a call back, so I didn’t feel like calling again.

This was far from being a quiet park. We were in site 50, backed up to the street. Motorcycles and cars all the time. Bar down the street playing music until 10:00 every night. No WiFi signal at our site. Wife did pick it up in the office one time.No fire pit, which I understand, no picnic tables anywhere. No activities. You want to sit, bring a chair. This place is a glorified parking lot, nothing more in my opinion.

We spent a week here visiting family in town and attending my nieces 1st birthday party. I worked the week from our coach. The WiFi worked perfectly, being in site #1 we were very close to the network router. We never used the pool or other amenities. Its a short walk to the beach across the street.
