4 lanes of traffic and train tracks. Very noisy. Clean sites, easy check-Ins. Laundry was okay, but most driers were out of order.Restaurant onsite was nice.

Sand pit with a slide for kiddos, pool, restaurant and bar, staff was super friendly. Neighbors were a little loud, but then again I have a toddler so we go to bed earlier than most. Dogs were barking a lot. Our site was right up against a busy street so you could hear street traffic and sirens all night which were loud. But other than the noise, it was nice. Lots of kids, friendly neighbors. Full hookups and full bars with AT&T. Stopped here for a night on our way home from the Bay Area, great price, wouldn’t mind stopping here again.

We’ve been traveling for four months and this is the best RV park/resort we’ve stayed at yet! Awesome pool, workout room and the restaurant on the premise has fabulous food! We usually eat in because I love to cook but we ate out both nights in this restaurant! Plus, they have great showers too!

You get a decent amount of space between your neighbors, people constantly coming and going for the night and the resort stays crowded, but we never had any noise issues. It is really quiet here and everyone is respectful, for our stay at least! The groundskeepers are really nice, the staff is accommodating in general. Laundry services on site. The pool is still closed, but as restrictions lift more, I am sure it will be opening again soon. Crest bar and grill constantly gets traffic, had lunch and dinner there, decent food. There's also tons of restaurants close by. I came to do comedy and the city has good vibes and welcoming energy. The resort is conveniently located across the street from a camping world which was amazing to see after months of boondocking. There is also a mall close by and all grocery items you'd need. Temblor Brewing Company is a fun spot for a night out! Will definitely be back.

We stayed one night passing through very nice and clean. There are lots of long term people, contractors I would say but everyone had high end class C , class As and fifth wheels.Except for the early AM train coming through pretty awesome place.

Luxury RV park with the staff to prove it! Great on site restaurant. Sites were clean and spacious. The mature trees were the perfect touch to escape the heatwave and give our AC a break. Wish we could stay longer.

We usually stay here because of the onsite restaurant. I’m concerned that we arrived to find the pool closed. We were also told that a couple of the cable TV stations were down. Neither of these affected us, but we found it quite surprising at a park of this level. Sure hope this isn’t an indication of a lack of keeping the facility up to the standards we’ve really come to appreciate.

Liked it so much that we just reserved another stay for Sept. 2019. The arrival was outstanding; check in was easy and then we were escorted by staff in a golf cart to our spot. We did not explore the area as we were just passing through. The restrooms and showers were clean and we used them. Our site (cannot recall the number but it was an interior pull thru) had a clear view of the sky for the satellite. Verizon signal was excellent. with respect to the other reviews that speak of the train noise; yes, there are passing trains. There were two that passed during sleeping hours. They didn't keep us awake and their impact is subjective. Naturally, if you are a light sleeper or have trouble going back to sleep, they might be an issue for you. We feel this to be one of our favorite parks thus far in our first 2 months of full time RV'ing.

Private and secure with both a gated entry and security cameras on site. Modern, spotlessly clean, and well maintained. Beautiful landscaping and decor. Heated restrooms and showers. Heated pool and gym. Very good restaurant on site with patio area and take-out available. A train whistle is heard every now and then, but being Bakersfield it seems to be a fitting part of the atmosphere and it's not loud enough to be a bother. Many discount cards are honored. Friendly staff (at check-in we were handed cookies, oranges, and a biscuit for the dog.)This was our second stay. If you like country western music, check out the Buck Owen's Crystal Palace for dancing and dining (we had SO MUCH fun!) and lots of Buck Owens/country western memorabilia. The band was wonderful and well worth the $5 cover charge to hear Kim McAbee belt out "Pink Cadillac." Don't miss the Kern County Museum for a wonderful exhibit of historic building and information on the Okie Migration. And if you don't mind driving a bit for an authentic experience, visit Ethel's Old Corral bar, which often has a band, especially on Sundays. Call ahead and ask. Terrific burgers. It has hitching posts for those who ride in on horseback.

The park's in-town location on a multilane street makes for easy access form the 99, (come in from the north to avoid navigating a left turn thru a single lane bordered by concrete curbs), but also guarantees lots of traffic noise. Staff is always great. Given its suburban southern Central Valley location it is a beautiful park.

We were dragged kicking and screaming to this place by our California Central Coast unit of the WBCCI and ended up LOVING it! The price was right ($40 group rate) and all the amenities one could want: wide sites with some shade trees, concrete patios, and a deep enough back-in site that easily fit our 30 foot trailer. As the previous reviewer stated, one has to park their vehicle parallel to the lane, but that's kinda typical of most resorts, isn't it? BTW, there are pull-thru sites for the discerning. A Jacuzzi, pool and laundry room make for a comfortable visit. And as mentioned in the other review, there's a wonderful restaurant in the middle of the resort--how cool is that! And just outside the gates are all the urban amenities for your needs: Camping World across the street as well as truck/car dealers, etc for repairs and parts. And within a mile or two of the resort are a Costco (another Costco is on the eastside and it has diesel at it's fuel station). There's a Walmart Superstore about a mile away, too. So, as Mick Jagger sings: if you're "heading through Bakersfield, listening to the gospel radio hour" and you need a very comfortable spot before heading up to the nearby Sierras, do drop in and maybe you too, will find a girl with the faraway eyes . . .Oh yeah, the summers are HOT here and one more thing: the town lives up to its classic Central Valley "American Graffiti" setting. The streets are full of noisy muscle cars & trucks, but hey, this is America, ain't it?

  • Be sure to ask, if . . .

The park is very nicely landscaped considering it's arid environment. The biggest concern I have is that every visit, everyone seems to be assigned sites that are not really big enough. We could not have left our Honda attached to our 37' Class A & fit in our pull through site. As did most others, we had our car parked perpendicular to the coach. This resulted in many vehicles extending somewhat into the road. This trip, this was merely an annoyance. In the past, I've simply requested, when calling for a reservation, that I be given a site long enough that I can leave the car attached. They have always accommodated that request.
