Short term are kept towards the front of the park. Would definitely stay again.

Just sending out a March 2022 update to say all the prior reviews still are relevant. I would stay here again. FYI - my dog considers roosters an arch enemy and there are a few next door sounding off at sunrise. My walker hound made sure to let them know they are noisy. ;)

Probably one of the nicer RV parks we have stayed in. Quite other than the trains in the background. Paved pad with grass. Highly recommend

Well every couple weeks you need full amenities to do laundry, take long hot shower, and close to major grocery store to stock up, this place fit the bill, with friendly long term renters, spot 112 is perfect and at end of row, see pics

  • Stayed a full week; great park, really nice sites; working wifi!

Full weekly price: $245We had site #112 - a really nice site at the end of a row. We had a little grass area with a picnic table and a bench, and were located right across from the bathrooms & laundry (but we didn't use either--we saw staff cleaning each day but we were in a period of self quarantine before joining my family in the Bay Area and didn't want to risk anything.)Honestly, as much as we didn't want to be in Bakersfield -- (as in, we would have rather been touring the national parks we had planned to!) -- we still enjoyed our stay here. The campground was clean and quiet, very well kept, and Eric even set up his disc golf basket next to the RV and practiced his putting. We had also asked for a site close to a router-- the front desk staff was really accommodating to that request, and we found the wifi was fairly reliable and fast. The park is set next to a farm, so you may hear some livestock noises, especially if you're the left row like we were. Can also hear the train, but not so loud that it was a bother. Although we hope we don't have to quarantine in Bakersfield again, A County RV Park is somewhere we'd stay again and would recommend to others.

Had everything we needed. Friendly. Other visitors were very friendly. The exit onto 58 was closed so it took awhile to get back onto the highway, but that is certainly not the RV park's fault. Would stay again. Great access if the exit wasnt closed.

All large wide concrete pads with non-moveable picnic table for (2) only 2 [very tiny] cable tv full hook ups – definitely a Big Boys RV Park. We camp in a "Tear Drop” style RV only 15' long and we looked dwarfed next to the big boys. We are w/o toilet or shower and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area.Got a spot 3 sites from restrooms all heated which were very nice with tiled walls and floors; appearing to newer – maybe last 5 years or so with 2 large stalls ~ sink vanity area is roomy giving entire facility a 5 star rating. Sure would have been nice and more convenient if it had shelves and hooks in shower and sink area for your stuff. CONS: Picnic table too small and not movable – need grassy strip between sites so we could set up our dinning fly – didn’t see any tents set up – not a recreational park no activities PROS: Excellent restrooms – large cement pads – sparkling pool - park with locking gate at night after 7:00 access with code – great for big rigs and perfect overnight stop for little RV’s like us

Sites are level, fairly close together but there are grass strips between for our dog to hang out. Lots of full-time residents, with one or two aisles for overnighters. Well-kept bathrooms, laundry, and pool area. We love the sound of trains, and you'll definitely get them here. It's close to the highway, so if you're looking for complete quiet, it's not here. Campground WiFi is generally pretty good, though in the evening I've had to use my Verizon hotspot. There is no place to walk dogs outside the park; in the nearby neighborhood, EVERY house has at least two dogs, all of which bark incessantly the moment you walk down the street; my dog and I woke up the whole 'hood. BUT, there are two big areas in the park for exercising dogs -- one in the back that's completely fenced, and a big grassy area in front where I can throw the ball for my dog for hours. Office staff is friendly and helpful, we had several packages delivered here and it was easy.

We met up with a fellow traveler and this RV park was decent enough. Nice, big pull through spots that were fairly level. The pool looked great, but unfortunately for my kids it was too cold out! If we needed an overnight spot we'd stay here again.Campground WiFi was also fairly decent.
