Our previous arrangements in Bakersfield fell through and this park was the closest to our other stay so we assumed it would be the same quality. Not so. Most of the residents were long term or permanent folks and it was obvious there were no rules for keeping your site clean. There were spare tires, 2 old sofas and every manner of junk on display. The manager saw the Airstream and kept asking how much we paid for it and several people walked by us and stared. It made us feel very uneasy. We were even more concerned when our neighbor told us that his kids' bikes had been stolen and we should lock everything up we value. We couldn't use the dump as it needed an adapter to step down the hose. The traffic noise from the expressway and the trains nearby was incessant.
