This little spot is in the urban center of Morro Bay. Brick paved with tiered gravel sites. Owners were welcoming. Good cell and satellite coverage.
Great overall experience!

Pros - very nice, well maintained campground. The manager (Sam?) was super helpful and friendly. Location can’t be beat for walking around town and to the water. Not necessarily easy beach access from the place but water access nearby. Cons - Electric wasn’t working for our site. Had to plug into a 20A outlet. Highway noise (though we were in the spot right beside highway). Likely the same goes for the neon sign outside our door shining bright, again only from the spot we were in. Great cell service to work remote and overall we really liked Morro Bays sleepy vibes with easy access to Paso Robles and Big Sur!

Great location, nice flat sites, owners are fantastic! Beautiful view of Morro Rock, easy walk to Embarcadero and the beach. Laundry facilities are great, including many clotheslines. We will definitely be back!
Great RV campground, 2 blocks from beach

I initially tried to book the state park, but ended up here and think it was better for what I needed. We were close enough to San Luis Opisbo and the airport to drive over whenever the mood struck, but the town of Morro Bay had a lot on its own. And you can walk to everything in town. You're two blocks from the bay and Embarcadero with all the restaurants and touristy shopping. You can even walk to Morro Rock from there and watch the sea otters play. Downtown is also a few blocks over. I noticed that a yoga place two blocks down offers the first month of yoga for $20, I think. Not bad if you're in town. The park itself is cute and well kept. We had a spot in the front on the brick pavers (some sites in the back have a brick patio with gravel pad). The owners even used a different color brick to help guide you into the space. The only problem with the front is Main Street can be a little loud if you like to keep your door open. There is also a mechanic across the way that either sucks at his job or hurts himself a lot. Something in the middle may be quieter. A note about the laundry: There are 2 washers and one dryer which seemed odd, but I threw both washer loads in the giant dryer and it worked fine. They also supply clotheslines and pins. The Libertine Pub has a lot of beers on tap and we enjoyed our lunch at Frankie and Lola's. I wish we hadn't waited until the last day. Oh, and the vegan Shine Cafe. Both AT&T and Verizon were usuable for work.
