Both times we ended up in the dry camp -- which is basically a gravel parking area -- for two nights. Very friendly folks here. On our first visit, a very charming "Welcome Wagon" lady stopped by our dry camp with all kinds of local info. On our second visit the folks across the street from the dry-camp invited us over to enjoy some fellowship, a fire and some adult beverages. Very nice! The pool and hot tub were very enjoyable. The grounds were immaculate and even the dry-camp was well kept and was occupied by friendly and courteous folks. The park is located several miles off of I-8 on the southeast side of Yuma and is convenient to lots of eateries, shopping and the like. It is about 10 minutes to downtown and about 30 minutes to the border crossing in Los Algodones.Would definitely return and get a regular spot for an extended stay when back in the area.

We used our solar as it’s pretty much sunny every day in Yuma. You couldn’t use your RV washing machine because of their septic system. However, their laundry was quite inexpensive. Washing machines were $1.25 and dryers were $.25 for 20 minutes. We washed our quilts/blankets/pillows. They have lots of activities happening every day/week which brings in everyone whether you are lot owners, weekly/monthly or even just drycamping. Everyone waves and you feel very welcome! The park managers were outstanding and were detail oriented! There was a pool/hot tub too! Technology: paid park WiFi (but we didn’t test), AT&T only 1 bar, and some OTR TV channels. Our hot spot with a MyFI antenna gave us a decent speed. This park is south of Yuma, but we enjoyed the scenery of lemon/orange trees and alfalfa fields - it felt like you weren’t in the desert! We would definitely stay here again.
Overall great experience!

The people at the park were very friendly and helpful. Laundry room was very clean and in great working condition. The area next to the park was great for walking my dog and she could run leash free. It was easy to have my mail forwarded to here. We didn’t use the bathroom or showers, but I’m sure they were like the rest of the park and were an above average experience!

They have activities daily. We did enjoy the hot tub.
Loved the pool and hot tub!

As usual with an Escapees park, everyone was friendly and helpful. The best part of staying here for us was being able to use the lovely pool and spa. Since it was getting pretty hot while we were there, a dip in the pool was really refreshing and the spa was a nice treat after it cooled off a bit in the afternoon.About half of the lots at this park have park models on them and the owners live in them either full-time or seasonally. The other half of the lots have RVs parked on them and when the owner is not using his/her lot, you may rent their space.I would say that this park had the nicest showers and restrooms of any RV park we've stayed at so far in our many years of RVing. For once, there was enough space to take a shower and get dressed without doing contortions and there were plenty of hooks for hanging up towels or robes or whatever and shelves for putting your stuff down on. The main negative for us of this park is its distance from town. It's a bit of a drive to get to grocery shopping, etc.
We enjoyed our stay!

All in all a real nice place a little removed from town. The dog area was not adequate. The park is dog friendly but not dog equipped which is sort of a downer for pet owners and their dogs!

Wonderful huge fenced in dog park adjacent. Must be several acres where dogs can run unleashed. And nice heated swimming pool. Not huge, but I was the only one in it. Overflow “dry camping” area as hookup sites are hard to come by during the season. I arrived on a Monday in early March and got a hookup site with no problem. Wi-Fi for “two devices” was ok.

We used our solar the entire time and saved on electric. Spots have a gravel back in for your rig. There is a pad for chairs and relaxing. Plenty of space for our 30' Airstream and tow vehicle. The park is immaculate. Well landscaped and maintained. Laundromat is clean and newer equipment. Six washers and six dryers. About $1.25 per was load. Park has an onsite propane fill station which was very reasonable. Everyone is very friendly. The co-mangers are super friendly and very helpful. The park is located 15 minutes from downtown and ten to fifteen minutes to all shopping. No reservations accepted. If full, you can park in a nice gravel area till a site opens. We waited two days at $7.50 day. When in the area, definitely would stay here again.

As far as affordable and nice for the short term in Yuma, this is the least expensive place, by far, that we found. It is about 6 miles south of town but easy access to all the necessary conveniences. This is a first-come, first-serve park as all sites are actually owned by Ko-op members. We arrived in October so plenty of snowbirds had not yet arrived and their spots were available. We called ahead to verify spots were available and that, being under 55, we were allowed to stay. They said we could stay up to a month. They did ask if we had kids so those with kiddos will want to call and ask. When we arrived, they were a little confused by the new Xcapers breakoff of Escapees but with our card and number, everything worked out.We paid $20/night plus electric. With some serious air conditioning use, electric was about $3 a day. There are some dry camping spots in parking lot style for $10. Ask about weekly rates. All sites are nicely divided by a short brick wall and there is an owners shed on most sites. Sites are large enough to park your rig, enjoy the patio next to it and park your truck/car on the other side of the patio. There is a fair size and very clean pool and hot-tub, both fairly empty when we were there. There is a laundry room, very fairly priced, filtered drinking water available for donation and a huge, huge fenced dog park.We attracted a fair bit of attention being the youngest there but everyone was very friendly and made sure to invite us to their community activities. We would stay here again if we were just passing through Yuma and needed hookups.
