Go for a walk up the hill to the flagpole and you get a 360 view of Montana grassland. The staff- BEST staff I have ever met in a park! Very friendly, engaging, and helpful! If I ran a campground, this is the staff I would want. It is evident that a lot of pride goes into the park and the ranch here. Derek in particular was amazing and took me around a tour of the ranch. I want to stay for the summer! Pretty far trip for groceries and supplies, so bring what you need. Wi-Fi is good

Great location for a stop after Little Bighorn NM before heading for Devils Tower and Mt Rushmore. Super friendly hosts Cheryl and Derek, very clean facility and nice camp sites that are gravel and level with full hook ups. Would definitely stay here again and longer. Some slight noise from the 90 fwy but not bad.

This is a lovely spot on a hill with a peaceful vista. It is convenient to I90, but high enough to mitigate Highway and train noise. The hosts are friendly and helpful, had a campfire at night. They have delicious chocolates, and welcome ice cream. There are short, pet friendly walking trails.

Water pressure was a little high, so be sure to use a pressure regulator.Spacing between sites about 10-15 feet with a grill, picnic table and a bit of grass.Be aware that to reach the campground the last mile or so is on a washboard gravel road. Interior roads are gravel, site pads consist of small pea type gravel that tends to allow the trailer tires to sink a bit, especially if it’s been raining. Sites are terraced slightly. Front to back level was very close, however this site needed about 4 inches added to the camp side to get level.Advertised wi-fi worked okay, Verizon LTE was 1 or 2 bars. 4 OTA TV channels received with good quality.Overall, very nice place, definitely well above average.

We loved it in October! The colors of the hills were remarkable. We loved the layout, the service at check-in was friendly and helpful. Hookups are clean and placed well at the site. There is a brief washboard road which is terrible but it is short and worth it to get to the ranch.

This wonderful park is situated just a small drive from the Custers Last Stand and The Battle Of Little Bighorn. This is a family run park and working farm run by a family that has made this a must stop if you are traveling in this area . The sites are large pull-thru sites with FHU. All sites are tiered going up hill so everyone has amazing sunset views. Our site was a bit unlevel so bring your legos to assist in the setup. The sites all have trees and large grassy areas that are watered every night, so be forewarned. The road in is a dirt road which is a bit bumpy so slow down, as it’s only a short stretch till you get to the office. Big bonus is you get ice cream when you check in and who doesn’t like ice cream! They also sell homemade pies among other goodies in the office and they are delicious. Put this park on your list of places to stay when visiting Montana. It was an awesome stay for us. What a lovely spot near Big Horn National Monument. Well maintained comfortable stay with amenities. The bathroom/showers were huge and clean. The coin op laundry was as well. So nice to find a spot with shade and grass. The road in is gravel but OK if you drive slowly. This is one of the nicest stops on our 3 week trip.

At check-in, each guest is given a token for a free ice cream from their small store. Nice touch! They also sell homemade pies, both dessert and vegetable pot pies. I purchased some locally raised grass fed Wagyu ground beef, which I had always wanted to try. The price was $6.00#, the best price I’ve ever seen. Excellent! Mennonites are known for their healthy lifestyle. We stayed 2 nights and had a full hookup site @ $40.00nt, with a 15% discount. We have an Escapee membership. We are self contained so we didn’t use the facilities or the laundromat. We enjoyed our day touring Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument just up the road. I highly recommend this campground!

We were very grateful to have a comfortable spot to hunker down in. Loved our site, B7, right at the top of the hill with a big tree providing us some shade (w/e only, very little leveling required). The landscaping is lovely with sunflowers planted everywhere and beautiful yellow finches hopping all over. The camp hosts were very friendly and the bathrooms were BEYOND clean! Like I'd be happy to eat a meal in there. The shower pressure was also awesome, just great all around bathroom experience. There are also several lovely short trails branching out from the campground, which made really nice sunset walks. The free ice cream upon check-in was also a nice touch. Not much else in the area besides the Bighorn battlefield, but a great place to chill out for a little bit.

It was easy to get a reservation via email and it didn't require a security deposit to do such. Its also not one of those yellow shirt parks, which is good in my view. However, I'm sure I'll never be back here for a couple of reasons, the foremost being I don't like parking our trailer on such an unlevel pad as we had. It's dangerous unless you stay hooked up. Basically, most of the lower A row sites are sloping down with the driver side high with leveling jacks fully extended on the passenger side. One gentleman, 2 spots above us, had a mishap unhooking his trailer when the tongue jack slid off his chock and came down on his power cord. There was so much vertical at our door that I had to use a step stool to get to the bottom rung of our fully extended ladder. When I complained to one of the staff about our site, he indicated that there was nothing else available...but, he did offer to assist me in leveling our trailer. I got it done, but still...Checking in can also take a little time as the reception is also the store and the single person checking in arrivals is also ringing up ice cream sales and taking phone calls. No recycling except aluminum cans and their Wi-Fi is nearly nonexistent.I'm not sure how this park received the Campendium Camper Choice Award for 2020 and 2019. However, one cool thing that they do is to allow you to wash your rig.

We figured it would be a comfortable spot to just stop and relax for 2 nights. Instead, it ended to being one of the highlights. We have 4 kids under 12 and 2 dogs. Our kids loved the hiking trails, the bike rides, sunsets, spacious campground, and the family that runs the park. We were warmly greeted by the office and escorted to our site where they made sure I was parked just right. Then they were always available, but not annoying. My kids made friends with the youngest boy of the family, who showed them all the fun places to explore. We went to Little Bighorn, which is a must for many reasons. The sunsets were beautiful and the park was clean. The bathrooms were so well maintained. I would recommend this park to everyone. It is well worth the stop for at least 2 nights. The sites are large and well spaced with lots of room to run, play or just relax.

Having the Little Bighorn National Memorial nearby was a bonus. Be aware that the road in is dirt, rutted and washboardey in places. We went slow, all was well. Check in was easy, staff was pleasant. They have some food and gift items for sale and the ice cream was very good. All sites are gravel with some grass at each site. Relatively level. Quiet enough, freeway and train tracks are far enough away to be mostly background noise. Nice playground, although we have no children with us, laundry room is small but good enough. Bathrooms clean, showers free. Wifi is passable but like in most other places we’ve been it would cut out from time to time, but cell signal was good so our hotspot worked quite well. Be aware their website says to expect a 72 hour response on phone or online reservations, but they responded to our request within 12 hours. If you are close by calling for a space might be the better option.

On top of that, the sites are somewhat terraced, providing a larger-than-normal site for an RV Park and offering a degree of privacy as well.Very nice facilities here. Bath house was clean, modern and roomy. The park sits atop a hill overlooking the valley and I-90. It is high enough that there was little to no noise from the Interstate. Very quiet and peaceful overall. In addition, they allowed guests to wash their rigs, which is something most RV Parks would frown upon. Not a whole lot in this area other than the Little Bighorn Battlefield which we really enjoyed and highly reccommend.Would stay here again as a wayside through eastern Montana

Rate reflects no discounts and is high for the hinterlands but seems to be the going rate now. Efficient, friendly customer service that attentively fielded my request for strong wifi. Could have given this 5 stars but opted conservatively for 4, because of just a few things that I consider quite minor and probably would not use anyway: no pool or TV, 3 stackable, smaller laundry washers/dryers (no laundry soap pods) $2.25, and a petty pet peeve -- cannot turn off the small light mounted on the electrical box at each site (I like it dark but maybe this is an unrealistic expectation at an RV park). Not only are the central restrooms spacious, but the shower stalls have nice amenities -- bench and multiple hooks -- and they are squeaky clean. Only about 12-15 of us camped here in early October since they recently extended their closing date to October 20, so it felt very open, and the terracing creates extra privacy. Wifi strong with multiple access points for good coverage. Our site was nicely graveled with an uphill tree and pretty level but required one leveling block on the downhill side, and could not stay hooked up front to back. You can see I90 in the distance down-valley and it is easily and quickly accessible, but mostly can't hear it. All in all, a very nice evening and a good stopping-off point I will remember for future I90 trips.

Obviously my kids thought this was THE BEST and given that it was 102 degrees when we arrived, it was a very nice treat after setting up our site. The park has nice terraced gravel sites with small grass patches. There is not a lot of space to hangout next to your site but the common area in the center has horse shoes, frisbees, playground, large covered pavilion clean restrooms and showers. There is also a nice trail at the top of the park that leads to sweeping views of the rolling hills. The WiFi worked for websites but not streaming.

We have a 29 foot Class A and had no issues. Lots of bigger rigs that had plenty of space to maneuver. Just a nice place. Bird houses line the drive for an extra touch. And they have a book exchange which we used.

Definitely never leave awning or chairs out at night. We did have large hail. It's very quiet but its far from essential amenities like grocery stores (20 minutes away in Hardin or a Walmart(1-hour in Billing) Grocery store was very pricey. My only complaint is that sites are on a hill and not as level as you think. We struggled to get our rig level but small deal compared with the awesome super facilities. It was $2 wash and $2 Dry and only 2 small units.

Clean, well-maintained RV Park. Very clean restrooms, showers and laundry. Terraced, level parking on pull through sites. WiFi was weak during evening hours. Better at 2-4 AM.Great camps hosts and owners. Check map on website for directions. Owner warns about GPS errors.

  • Cool park, but not for the noise sensitive.

And maybe the wind was just right the night we were there, but the train horns and the rumbling on the tracks, (for miles), came right up to our coach. No sleep that night.... :(

Later that year, while on a two week vacation out west, we were excited to include 7th Ranch in our travel plans. Check-in is easy and both times the staff was very nice. Free ice cream is an added bonus. There is a very large staging area to unhitch your toad when you first pull in. Yes, you have to follow a chaperone. All sites are pull-thrus. Both sites we have stayed in were very level and the park is nicely kept. Our first site was lower in the park and our second site (F10) is what we like to call the "Penthouse Suite" area. Bathrooms were very clean. We love the "stadium sites" that afford uninterrupted broad views. We enjoyed hiking up to the top of the hill to watch the beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed the close proximity to Little Bighorn Battlefield (first listen to a ranger talk to get a full appreciation for what you will see on the driving tour). We were actually on vacation both times and not full-timing when we visited here, so we didn't pay much attention to cell service. You're pretty much in the middle of nowhere, so stock up beforehand if you're picky about your groceries. We recommend this RV park to anyone we know that will be traveling through the area. We love it that much.

There are no grocery stores, or stores at all nearby so stock up before hand.Railroad trains do go by all night- but unlike my husband, I like the horns! Do NOT follow your GPS at the Garryowen exit, will be on the wrong side of the interstate. Follow their yellow signs.

The park is clean and well-kept. The people who run it are a bit harsh about leading you to your spot, even if you know where it is, but they seem to have good intentions, and it can be a bit confusing, so I don't hold it against them too much. There aren't a lot of trees, but the hill makes it seem more private than it is. Overall, a nice stop.

Once in the park the roads are gravel and very well kept. All sites are gravel pull through and easy to access. All utilities were up to date and worked great. The laundry room is very small, but clean and well equipped. This park seems to be a short term stay for most travelers. I will be staying a week, but most campers are just here overnight and then they move on. The park fills almost every night. The 7th Ranch RV Park is close to the Little Bighorn National Monument and Custers Museum. It's only a 10 minute drive. Also the Big Horn County Museum in Hardin is worth the 25 minute drive. I also drove to Pompeys Pillar. About an hours drive. Lewis (from Lewis and Clark) carved his signature in the stone here. It's the only remnant of the Lewis and Clarks expedition. The natural pillar along the Yellowstone river is unique and protected by the National Forest Service now. Well worth the drive.

This is a beautiful location far away from anything else. Except the easy access to Little Bighorn Battlefield and the Custer Museum.Level gravel sites, easy access interior gravel roads. All utilities work great. Good water pressure with soft, artisan well water. Nice grass area at each site with good picnic table and BBQ. No fire pits. Clean bath and laundry house. Three small rental cabins and one rental tipi in the center of the small park. All sites are terraced for maximum views.Well maintained dirt road, less than a mile. Slow down. Easy access from I-90, we had no road noise. Train in the distance, we heard it twice. Easy check-in, lots of room to un-hook if you want to. Escort to site.Ice cream bar for each person upon check-in. Have the huckleberry, it's delicious. The park WiFi didn't work for us. We had good ATT coverage, satellite worked. There are no stores or other services, and minimal services in Hardin to the north, so stock up before you come. The cafe just outside the monument had a good selection for lunch and a beautiful, good quality gift store.Only one small ding for us was the bright light at the back of the shower house shining in our bedroom window (which we wanted open for the nightly breeze).

Personable staff. You get a Montana famous "Wilcoxson's" ice cream upon check in. :) Great location in remote eastern Montana to visit Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument. Clean bathrooms. And beautiful night skies for star gazing.
