It was interesting hearing about what they are doing to improve the campground. Part of the campground is for monthly stays. We stayed closer to the office. The bathroom is renovated and suitable for a shower. We heard highway noise at night. It was the highest-priced place we stayed with the least cleanliness. 7th mountain is much better, but it was closed for the season.

They have a game room & host an ice cream social every night at 7:30pm. Good electric, water & sewer. Easy access to town because the park is right there. Gas-Diesel-Convenience store right across the driveway entrance. (Diesel $3.17 Aug 2021 - cheapest in town.) Owners are remodeling the office & store, once finished it will be excellent. If any major improvement could be done would be to put a good concrete barrier fence between the camp & the ratty trailer park next door. A lot of TLC can still go into this camp as all camps, but this is great for the little time we stayed.

Was not sure where to check in even though signs pointed to a run down shack/store? Opened door and it was mind blowing. Hoarders mess with no organization or cleanliness. Older woman at front desk had piles or disarrayed paperwork not sure if we had paid( we did online). Other heavy woman( owner?) told us she was going to put us into a back in site. She explained “ best site on property”. NOT. This site 20 has her pump house and plug-in for pump in that electric site. Sent husband in to get what we paid for. 25 mins later, she said to follow her cart to pull through site. I start driving around a bend following her and she comes racing towards me telling me to stop! She explained someone is camping on pull through road and that we would have to back in. I was too exhausted to leave.Took 1 long hr to set up due to deep ruts/uneven site of loose big rock gravel. Bathrooms were disgusting with no privacy on stalls. Dirty, dilapidated.Laundry was worse. See pictures.Game room was a shed with pool table, storage of freezers, bbq’s and again dilapidated, dirty. We are looking to leave early and loose money as there is nothing to do in town. No pool, no green grassy areas, cigarette nuts, overflowing garbage everywhere. Disgusting run down place that need the health dept to close it down. Of btw, even though you pay that overpriced fee for free WiFi and cable tv….. it’s non existent. Do yourself a favor and drive to Billings or Big Timber for safer, cleaner campgrounds. Do your reviews to save other campers from this sad situation of this owner ripping people off.

We stayed 8/17/20 extremely hot weather but it was close enough to Little Bighorn for us to visit late afternoon after setting up and in the morning before checkout. Full hookup. Everything worked fine. Just doesn’t have any wow factors.

The office/Gift shop renovation is coming along. There is still a ways to go and it should be a lot cleaner but it is a vast improvement from before. Access to the park is easy. Signage was great. Check in was still a little long and drawn out. Our site (11) was a long, graveled and grass, pull through with plenty of room between neighbours. All services were to the left rear and worked well. We did not use the bathrooms, showers or laundry but noted they were clean and up to date. There were, however, still no doors for the toilet or shower stalls. There is a convenient store and service station across the street. We paid $41.41 including tax with a GS discount and feel we received good value. We would return if in the area.

The office is awful. Smells like cat pee and there and empty cat food cans just sitting around which stink and attract flies. Staff was nice. The office and the trailer where someone on site stays is just trashy. Site was level but not clean trash and cigarette butts and the grass is dead. Overall we just didn't like Hardin. There are fast food places to eat if that’s what you are looking for and there’s a Exxon gas station across the street. Flying J and Loves not far also. In Montanta the Flying J’s are co owned and the regular gas side does not accept the RV discount card but if you use diesel you are good as long as you use the truck lanes. It you just want a place to sleep this place will work but with taxes 46.00 seems a little high for that. Also the WiFi was not usable. No noise from traffic. Cable was good.

WRONG! When we drove around the site was taken and there was no way out, so had to unhook in the rain and while doing this the owner drove by on his golf cart and told us our space was not available and he would have to find another space for us. After a long day of driving and fighting the rain unhooking we were not in a good mood. However, it worked out well and they put us in a lovely spot and we enjoyed our stay. We had plenty of room for our tow vehicle and 44' motorhome.

The office looks like a hoarder stocked it and the cat pee smell is so strong I had to cover my nose while waiting to check in. Owner is nice but talked bad about the other parks in the area, making sure we knew that having ice cream for their guests was their idea first, etc.....okay, just check me in!She was good about moving us when we didn't have the 50 amp we reserved. The park was completely full. Some permanents, some work trailers with dozens of workers and their trucks. Weeds and stickers in the green areas. Old storage units in the back.Site was level but after we got set up and the people moved in behind us we had to move the picnic table to get our Jeep out. Very weird set up. Overall we just didn't like Hardin, and we like old, quirky small towns. No place to eat on a Sunday evening except three fast food places. Just didn't feel like a place we needed to stay any longer.7th Ranch south a few miles is a superior park. Stay there.
