Thankfully, we had a couple of gallons of water with us.My husband discovered there were other sites available with water, but for whatever reason, we were assigned one that did not have. Manager said he couldn’t do anything.

Really well-located park near everything. Great, clean bathrooms/showers. Very quiet! We enjoyed our stay.
Close to hot springs, not ideal for large rigs, overpriced for winter

We only stayed one night so we could visit the hot springs. The park is laid out oddly due to the slope on one side and the stream on the other side. Not ideal for larger rigs. Expect some noise from the trains. We likely would look at other options if in this area again. Sites (Length, Width, Level, Privacy): We were given site 69 (pull-through) but it was very unlevel and decided to move to site 67 (back in). Site 67 is a very level gravel site with some grass. It is right next, and I mean right next to several tent sites. Since it’s the offseason and not busy it didn’t matter to us. Site has a picnic table, grill (rusted out), and fire pit. The entire park has a lot of trees that would be helpful during the summer months. Hook-ups: We had electric (50/30), water, and sewer. The water spigot and sewer are at the back of the site and the electric pedestal is in the middle. The water pressure was very good. Amenities: The jumping pillow and snack stand were closed for the season. There is a small fenced-in dog area. Activities: You are very close to the hot springs and there is a stream that runs through the property. There are a few places in town to rent tubes but not during the winter. Staff: Friendly but probably not overly experienced with running an RV park. Area: There is a grocery store (Mike’s) next to the KOA. We had pizza and beer at The Royal Hotel and Pizzeria. It was good. We also visited the hot springs, which was relaxing. Reservations: Standard KOA reservation process. Online or phone. We called in since we were arriving later that day. Access: Access is not ideal for a longer rig like ours. If it was the busy season it would have been a pain to make the turn into the KOA. Also, the interior roads were not ideal for longer RVs. Cell Coverage/Internet (bars, wifi)/TV: We had 4 bars of AT&T LTE (not boosted) and great throughput. We didn’t use the park’s wifi.Price: Overpriced at $58.88 (with the KOA discount) for what it is and the time of year (almost empty). Especially considering there is another KOA down the road a mile. Found it odd that KOA would allow two KOAs in such close proximity to one another.
