The host, Apple and Rob, were amazing and super friendly. Locating it was very easy using Google maps. Driving in and setting up were also easy. Full hookups at all sites and a wonderful shower house. They way they have it setup makes it a place where you can relax alone or spend a great evening with new friends around a campfire. The Captains Hideaway is a perfect hidden location and great site. Hook ups were in great shape, water pressure & quality of water was awesome. Very quiet! Hosts were very accommodating and shared lots of tips on things to check out in the area - they even brought us some firewood. We really enjoyed our our visit to Adams Beach. W...moreThe Captains Hideaway is a perfect hidden location and great site. Hook ups were in great shape, water pressure & quality of water was awesome. Very quiet! Hosts were very accommodating and shared lots of tips on things to check out in the area - they even brought us some firewood. We really enjoyed our our visit to Adams Beach. We drive a 25’ Class C and had plenty of room in the site. Our cell coverage was not great (Verizon, AT&T & Sprint), but their WIFI helped us through! Thanks Rob & Apple!

I love this place. It's so cute. We tent camped this past fall and really want to go back as soon as it starts warming up. I really love how each site has trees and bushes in between them. Made me feel like I was camping in the forest. LOVED the rainfall shower.
Like a state park except better!

Quiet park with a large canopy of oaks with plenty of shade, the sites are nestled away and not on top of each other. The tiki bar huge community fire pit and fast Wi-Fi were a nice touch.
