That's the only reason for staying here. Roads and sites were gravel and it was very dusty. Our site barely fit our 35' fifth wheel - made reservation one year prior and was assigned a site that was very tight as well as tree limbs brushing against one slide and the roof. (Took some jockeying to get the trailer in a spot that could allow both slides to open and not the tree or the water spigot)Camp hosts were very gracious and friendly. No enclosed dog park - area for dogs had a lot of loose dirt and other campers were lax at picking up poop in spite of there being bags at the area.Free Wifi advertised, but after connecting was actually unusable. Websites would not download.Laundry room was very nice, didn't use other facilities.Check in was a breeze. Had full hookup site so didn't need to use the dump station.

Stay here on 05/17/22 for the amenities after boondocking for several weeks. The bathrooms are very nice here and the laundromat was well kept. The ladies at the front were friendly and the views here were nice. We used our Good Sam’s for a discount.

They did and they were closing at 5 but Lisa said she’d wait for me. I arrived and was quickly checked in and escorted to my interior spot. Nothing special about the spot no trees and others were close by. The place had lots of amenities including 2 hot tubs that were open, a dig walking area and a pond. The bathrooms were immaculate while beautiful showers. I’d stay here again for sure.

Y’all know the hosts make a difference and this place takes it to another level. There GREAT! We got a lot accomplished here. You can purchase a “Wash Permit” (15.00) and wash your rig. Had to take the truck to town for warranty service and they gave us a ride to and from. Plus you can see the National Park entrance from the park. This has been a great stay and experience. These folks need to do training for how to operate a park. Not sure how they do it but the road noise is not there even though your close. It’s not an issue.

In my youth the thought of staying at a KOA was something old people did, well guess what, I'm that old person now. I admit it, I like my creature comforts even when camping. This park really is a resort. It is conveniently located almost at the entrance of Mesa Verde National Park (about a mile away). It is the only campground I have ever had a person show me the way to my campsite at. The bathrooms are spotless and everyone respects the cleanliness and cleans up after themselves. There is a laundry room with a sink for washing dishes. There is a jacuzzi and an area with gas grills and a firepit - no wood burning allowed (we like that). There is a small pond on the grounds and once you're in the campground there isn't anything close by to walk to but after all you are camping and probably did a lot of walking at Mesa Verde. Staff is great and nice gift shop and camp supplies if you forgot anything. Even a free little library if you want something to read.

They do have free wifi, which is great because none of our other options are working, even boosted. We have AT&T & Verizon hotspots and our phones are through T-Mobile. The campground wifi, while not super fast, it is usable for basic surfing and occasional streaming. If we were just out here on vacation, it would be great. But since we are needing internet for work, this isn't a great option. Oh, and there's an additional charge for kids. It's $3.50 per child, per day. Which I know a lot of campgrounds do, but it's worth mentioning since it adds to the total cost.

This is a small and simple park that is well run, friendly and clean. The park is right on the road and you can hear the road- but it doesn't bother me (I like the white noise.) There are plenty of amenities (not fancy) but all nice and clean. There is a pool, a couple hot tubs, a playground, dog park, showers and a nice laundry room. The sites are pretty close together, but I have stayed places that were even closer. For a few nights it was fine. We were in a partial hook up site (electric and water) which was on the perimeter of the park which we preferred. The people checking us in were super friendly and accommodating. There is a basic little store by the check in and they have a ton of tourist information available there too.All in all we had a great stay and would happily stay again if in the area.
