The site was so level I didn't even have to unhook the trailer from my car. That was very helpful since this was just an overnight stay and I left early the next morning.
Conveniently located, friendly staff, gravel site

We reserved online and selected a 20/30 amp + water pull-thru site (explains the lower rate). The rate shown was before taxes. We traveled west on I-80 and decided to take Business 80 into Lyman to see the landscape and town. We enjoyed the drive and entered the campground from the south. The KOA sign at the road was helpful since we couldn't see the campground for trees and houses. However, you can take a closer exit which places the campground about a mile off I-80. Our arrival was smooth and efficient. The campground has a nice store with snacks and Wyoming apparel. This was an overnight stop for us. We enjoyed the dog park since we travel with two dogs. Our campsite had a fire pit and a picnic table. The site was gravel and level. The campground is well laid out and has a nice playground for children. We also saw a paved basketball court and sand volleyball. We also saw a pool, but there was no water in the pool (may be available during the summer months). Finally, we enjoyed seeing some wildlife. In the early hours, deer roamed the campground. They were beautiful to see.

We stopped here on our road trip. So thankful it was here since there wasn't much around and we needed a break. The sights are grass. We arrived after 6 pm and we’re warmly greeted. Well run with clean bathroom and shower facilities. Plenty of tent sites so we didn’t feel too close to our neighbors. Far enough from the interstate that you can just barely tell it is there - but easy to access from I-80.
Friendly management. Nice spot.

We called and they were not officially open but allowed us to stay. Nice and quiet, far enough from the i80. Full hookups. Partial hook ups.. Clint was great. Camp has Wifi. One road near the camp, the odd car might drive by but very quiet while we were here.
No road noise from I-80 a rarity for a KOA

Most recent stay was 6/16/16 - I'm "late" in posting my review ~ We camp in a Little Rig “Tear Drop” style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site...moreMost recent stay was 6/16/16 - I'm "late" in posting my review ~ We camp in a Little Rig “Tear Drop” style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. We’re right across the road from the restroom/showers. It’s an older 50’s type facility clean & neat. Shower stalls are private with glass doors and very tight 3x3 I think – so is the adjacent changing area with a little stool/bench for seating, plus rubber floor mat for feet as you exit shower; includes a couple of hooks, but would like to see shelves added for your stuff. Also need hooks and shelves at the shared sink/vanity area. Updating the place including new fixtures would do wonders. This is Wyoming after all and is more of a campground, not an RV Park per se. Gravel roadways and somewhat roomy, level mixed gravel & grass site pads with picnic table; large pull through site can accommodate Big Rigs. Some staggered back to back ~ back in sites; grounds include rental cabins and clean swimming pool, and tent sites all on flat ground. We’ve been here 4 time now ~ and will be back
Nothing fancy but well run

Nice KOA especially for the price. The price reflected does include the KOA discount and tax. The owners do a great job of spacing RV's apart, usually at least every other space if the park is not full. Far enough from the highway that you don't really hear the road noise.
