The spots are not concrete pads, but they are nice, well-spaced, manicured gravel that are flat. The woman at the front desk checked us in, gave us all the info and escorted us to our spot. She then helped line everything up and then took off. The Wi-Fi was great and the park was quiet. We’d definitely go back for a 1 night stay passing through.

Crusty old dude escorts you (he walks) to what are innovative pull thru’s. When a fellow RV’er plugged in, it immediately blew out power to most of the park. That crusty (read interesting) character was immediately on it. An electrician arrived in no time & all was good. Without unhooking, I was able to level our fifth wheel just enough. This was a very different site experience for us, but I loved it. We’ll return, but not in hot or wet weather.

Shawn and Dee were friendly even helped me get into spot and made sure I knew where things were and had the WiFi access. Showers were hot and clean and free and laundry coin op was available on site. I expected some rowdiness with the festival but other than being super busy and a lot of people it was quiet and peaceful and just what I needed to focus on work for the week. I would gladly stop again.

The sites are long, relatively level, and wider than we usually see in commercial campgrounds. Spots are mostly grass with some exposed dirt, and the park road is all dirt. We had a little rain during our stay, and it was a mess, especially for walking our dog. While there are a few trees throughout the park, they don’t offer much privacy and campsites run exactly parallel (not angled), so you can see right into your neighbor’s RV and vice-versa. Site utilities are in the back and worked fine during our stay. The park WiFi worked OK, and our Verizon worked without our booster. We had an unusually terrible customer service experience checking in and getting settled into our site, and this wasn’t just a lack of effort or single comment from this particular staff member. This individual was rude and unpleasant in repeated and separate conversations with myself alone, my partner alone, and to both us together. Everybody has a tough day or fails to offer their kindest self sometimes, but without going over all of our interactions, it seemed like this person thought their behavior and choice of words were fine and sometimes even funny. The check-out time here is 10am, which is oddly early and could be inconvenient for some, and this park is also expensive for being pretty basic. With a Good Sams discount the prices are $40 cash/$41 cc for a back-in and $45 cash/$46 cc for a pull-through.Needless to say, we would not stay here again.

We were so impressed that we made a point to stop again on our way back south on June 18th. We had the same pleasant experience as our first night. The staff are so hospitable and kind. We were escorted to our site and told how glad they were to have us there. The facilities are clean and the acres of grass and trees make it very cool and inviting. The WiFi worked first try too! We think you will agree it is a wonderful place to “rest, relax and enjoy!” Thanks Tony!

Very quiet. Loved the grass spots after being in the sandy SW desert for weeks. Deer roaming thru the campground was nice. Only stayed here one night.

We relocated to the area and need a place to stay till we found a house. Fort Bridger could not have been more welcoming. Home town feels everyone knows everybody in Fort Bridger. Toney the site manager is wonderful and his pup Bear is a doll. They offer nightly, weekly and monthly rates. The facilities are very clean and welcoming. The site is open all year round unlike the other parks in the area. If you are looking for a quiet and welcoming spot this is it. We stopped in for a few nights, stayed a few weeks and made some friends here. We highly recommend this stop to anyone.

Very nice, quiet, small campground right next to the state historical park and museum. The owners, Dee and Shawn, have been very helpful and have given us advice on where to go to see interesting history and geology. The campground has about 30 sites; some are back in and mostly used for seasonal campers and a couple long term renters. The rest are pull through or pull in/back in sites. All are level, on grass, and are FHUs. Some sites have more shade than others, but the temperatures are mild and humidity levels are low! The sites are long and have plenty of spacing in between. We have a huge long pull through site. Dee spends a lot of time watering the grass! Right now, the wifi service company is adding fiber optics, so this week it isn’t working as well, but it should be great in the future. ATT works well, but Verizon is weak. There is cable here with some stations; we used our portable Dish with no issues. The campground fills up with overnighters almost every night. The campground offers Good Sam rates as well as weekly and monthly rates. We’ve been here a week; we are already are thinking about returning next Labor Day weekend for the Fort Bridger rendezvous.

Very easy to get to spots are large grassy areas. The staff is very friendly and the Wi-Fi is amazing! There is about a quarter-mile of decent dirt road to you to the park that would be the only negative if you were looking for one.
