Bottom line, this fit the bill perfectly for a one night stay on my way from southeastern to northwestern Wisconsin. As the prior reviewer said checkin was very efficient and the owners were pleasant. Access was easy off of HWY 53. It's a good base if you want to explore Chippewa Falls or even Eau Claire although there were no hiking trails with immediate access.Since I was in a double site with friends, the water hookup (not used) was shared and a bit further away than normal and the owner immediately said if we needed extra hose or electrical cords to just ask. We didn't but it was nice to offer. The sites were level and easy to get into with shade. The bathroom were clean and functional. Entry was with a code which I thought was interesting since I couldn't imagine any person not staying here wandering into the area or the bathroom. The Wifi was functional for my phone, but for some reason my laptop wouldn't connect so I used my phone as a hotspot. 3 bars with AT&T. Didn't try to watch TV, but was able to get numerous radio stations on my Jensen radio. While RV parks are not my. cup of tea generally, I'd stay here again as a quick stop.

We were then escorted up the hill to the campground area to FHU site 14. The back-in was fairly easy due to the spot across being empty. We were assigned our site upon arrival. As we were here for 7 days, we received the weekly rate of $200 plus electric with the electric bill being $46.42. As a side note to our electric bill, the weather was a little warmer than normal and we like our camper in the mid 60s at night to sleep so our air conditioners ran quite a bit. There was one pull through site that was used by overnighters. There was no designated dog area but areas to walk the dogs to include a big area by the gas station across the street. We received 2 bars each on Verizon and AT&T. The park’s WiFi worked better than average for a CG this size. There were plenty of trees for shade and most sites have a clear shot of the southern sky for satellite. We got enough OTA stations that we did not set out our satellite. There was a small laundry room in the main motel with two washers and dryers. Wood could be purchased on the honor system in the middle of the campground for $5 a bundle. There were not many amenities such as playground, pool etc. but we do not use those anyway. The CG sits off the highway far enough that there was not much road noise. There was a mix of full time, seasonal and short-termer campers. The park was quiet and everyone minded their own business. The owner stopped by to see how things were going, which was a nice touch. We did the Jacob Leinenkugel 30 minute brewery tour. Great tour even though we couldn’t go inside the plant due to COVID. For the $12 per person, we received 5 tickets to try 5 - 5 oz samples. Very nice gift shop where we bought T-shirts. Lots of other beer stuff as well. Take the dogs to Happy Tails Dog Park in Chippewa Falls. Costs $3 a day or $25 for the year. Paying was on the honor system. Nice 53+ acre off leash dog park with a nice path around the perimeter of the fenced park to include water stations at the entrance and half way around the trail. There were two other small fenced in dog areas, one for agility and the other for small dogs.

Arrived with an easy check in at the motel. Nice clean family owned place. Easy access right off the highway with minimal highway noise. Level sites with full hook up - electric, sewer and water and picnic table. Small campground with lots of trees. Short drive to Chippewa Falls which has a handful of restaurants with excellent food!
