Very nice campground with pull through sites, full hookups, and the cell service could not be any better. Gravel path to the brewery, distillery, and restaurant. We were there midweek, so there was not any musical entertainment going on. You can't beat pulling a camper through the mountains, set up camp, and them be able to take a short walk and enjoy excellent beer...and not have to worry about driving. We loved the place and will be back. Loaded nachos with chicken were first rate. So were the wings! This is a no stress zone.

  • Great weekender spot.

Easy access for larger fifth wheel. Long, gravel pads that were pretty much level. The placement of the pedestals for power/water and the sewers is a little odd...just a little too far apart, you’ll probably need a sewer hose extender.Great spot for a few days, especially if you like beer. Breweries all along Route 151.Free WiFi was great, but when I was using it was a Sunday night and the park wasn’t very full. Verizon had great reception, too. Cell tower across he street from the campground.

  • Super cool!

I got a killer deal on the rate because of the COVID restrictions. The area is beautiful and perfectly situated for lots of outdoor activities. There is a ton of amazing hiking and all sorts of tastings to be had (beer, cider, wine, and spirits). The campground it’s self is a large open field with hook up and some beautiful scenery. Several rigs, including mine, needed leveling blocks, but nothing too drastic. The even numbered sites are the best to get. You share a utility post with your neighbor and the odd numbered sites have the post in the grassy area that winds up being your site. Everyone was very friendly. You can walk to the brewery on site, and to a cidery that is across the road. There aren’t many amenities, but the vibe and area more than make up for it. WiFi was good. The address they send you takes you to the brewery. The campground is around the cornerstone it. The address to use for the campground is 30 Three Ridges Ln, Roseland, VA 22967. I would definitely stay here again, although at full price I might not be as enthusiastic.

  • Parking lot with shared electric and water pedestal. Sewer connection close to your neighbors picnic area

The area is absolutely beautiful and lots of breweries and wineries in the area, plus some unique stores to browse through. So “basecamp” is a good description. However, the campground was a bit of a disappointment. For $55 night it’s just parking in a field. Not much shade in the Summer, but I bet it’s beautiful here in the Fall. The tent sites are very well shaded, and there seems to be good shade in the primitive RV camping areas. We camped here in August and it was very hot. Enjoyed our sight after the sun went behind the trees about 5:30. Good thing our best friends were in the site next to us because we shared the same electric/water pedestal and their sewer connection was right in our front picnic area. We did turn our RVs to face each other, which was nice because it gave us more space. There’s no privacy, you are right next to each other. Our neighbor’s fire pit was so close to our RV. There is a Camp Host but our fire pit had not been cleaned. Campground was clean as I think the campers themselves clean up after themselves very well, There is one bath house with only 2 showers that serves the whole campground and it is a bit of a walk. We decided to try out this campground due to a music and beer tasting event that was being held at the brewery. That was a really nice event (although it was so very hot in August) and I’ve heard there is another event in September which is even better. We drove around and checked out another campground in the area, Sherando Lake. Next time I will stay at Sherando Lake and just make the brewery a day drive.

  • Great location, very cool set up

I love craft beer and this spot is situation on a great beer trail. The campground itself is solid. I stayed in a no hookup site which is fine for me because solar takes care of most of my needs, but I cant speak for the electric sites. My site was level and it backed to a wooded area. It seemed like most of the sites were pretty level. The bathhouse was very nice and well kept. The neighbors had generators which were a bit loud, but overall respectful with them. There was quite a bit of partying happening, but its at a brewery and was to be expected. The walk to the brewery takes less than 10 minutes and has lots of cool features. We were here during a seafood festival and really enjoyed the bands and activities. They seem to still be working on some areas of the campground, so Im sure it will continue to improve.
