The only open shower house is a mile up a hill, and you have to drive. It was frustrating cause there were shower houses everywhere. All closed and not due to covid. Just closed, cause they’d rather not clean them I suppose. For $60/night we expected a little more.

Some negative review issues have been resolved. The road leading in is no longer dirt as some have reported. It is now very smoothly paved. As in the directions using GPS making the directions very tough going directing through the town of Greenville via exit 213, mine showed the same route. I called the office while on the highway and they gave great directions to avoid going through the small town and narrow roads as some reported. Do not take exit 213, take exit 217. Your GPS will show to go left after getting off of exit 217 to lead back to the highway through Greenville. Take a right instead as I did after calling the office again. They will give great and easy directions into the park. The park it's self is very clean, large and they offer many amenities. An onsite store, a small restaurant open Friday though Sunday, a lake for swimming and paddle boat rental. It is a very nice park for any size RV and I would definitely stay again if in the area.

We used this campground because it was a Passport America campground. We had full hook ups. Staff was friendly. It was their Halloween weekend and they had a lot of activities. Sites were clean. Only real complaint was that the site wasn’t very level and cell service wasn’t very good. They had WiFi, but that didn’t work so well either....moreWe used this campground because it was a Passport America campground. We had full hook ups. Staff was friendly. This is an interesting campground with an even more interesting trip into the area. The road you turn off of from Lee Highway looked like a back alley. The roads turned and twisted and finally the entrance was in sight. The interior roads are a work in progress (literally). People were friendly. Some interesting activities were listed on the calendar but alas, only here for one night.
