Cute campground. Surprised us to see two other airstreams there. Gravel leading in but well maintained. We had water and electric. WiFi did not really work. Surprised us to see two other airstreams there. Gravel leading in but well maintained. We had water and electric. WiFi did not really work. We could boost our cell signal from one bar to three. We backed up to pond. Late in season but still pretty busy for a Saturday night. Our site could have used some gravel. Luckily it had been dry. Essentially we were just on grass and roots but site had plenty of room. The road to get there felt like we were definitely off the beaten path. How took us a different way out through some scenic small towns. No place really to hike but could have ridden the back country roads on bikes.
Wonderful small campground

We stayed two night at Pine Hollow during the pandemic. It was very quiet (25% occupancy allowed) and we got a pond front campsite. Not a lot of amenities, but there was free wifi, the stocked pond and lovely owners.
Small, quiet, a lovely spot, particularly for a family with small children

As the name implies, it is in a hollow in the Berkshire mountains - hence our only complaint. Cell service was abysmal, sometimes non-existent. There is park wifi, also very spotty. Otherwise- we love this park. It is off the beaten path, a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of many campgrounds. There are both full hookups and elec/water only. We were camping with friends that have small children. The kids fished, played in the shallow lake, rode in the park paddleboat, played on the swingset - they had a ball. There are many many tourist spots in the area - the nearest towns of any size are Berlington VT and North Adams MA.
