We were here to judge a BBQ contest our site # 13 was on the water in the corner not to far from the bathrooms. The owners were very nice and the site was pretty level. There was WiFi and cable.

They had us complete the registration online ahead of time, so check-in was super simple. We loved driving around Vermont back roads. They do not allow billboards in the state, so all the forests are all you see. We will definitely stay here again. The only thing is if you come from New York directly from the east be prepared to take some windy two-lane roads.

We slept (in our Class B) with the back doors open and bug screen down... the sky was lighting up from a distant thunderstorm. Beautiful! The pool was very nice... very clean, and large. We did not get a chance to hike the nearby trails... we had been exploring waterfalls over on Rt 100 and got here a bit later than we planned. The staff we dealt with were very nice... being a slower night of the week they were very flexible with which site we took.WiFi was great, as well. All in all a great experience, and we expect to return. We think that spring would be wonderful, when there would be more water in the river.

The owners Sylvia and Ken are great people and it's a beautiful place with large sites right on the White River! The bath house is nothing too fancy and can be very cold depending on the time of year but it's decent. I love that they have a dumpster but also a ZeroSort recycling bin and even composters for food waste! The train does run pretty close by (and loudly) but not that often. The water pressure was good, they had lots of TV channels and decent WiFi but unfortunately no cell service (at least not AT&T)! Overall it's a great place and hard to beat for the money!
