Nice place with beautiful views. Most sites-are pull thru. WiFi is just ok, but we had good Verizon reception Avoid A1-A3 they are too close to the stinky dump station

This park has a lake that is viewed from many of the sites. Each spot has plenty of room and a lot of green grass. Plenty of areas to take a dog on a walk and feel safe. They have wifi but my VPN would not work over it. It is pretty good to stream a movie or two. The staff was nice and navigating the roads with a big rig was easy. ...moreThis park has a lake that is viewed from many of the sites. Each spot has plenty of room and a lot of green grass. Plenty of areas to take a dog on a walk and feel safe. They have wifi but my VPN would not work over it. It is pretty good to stream a movie or two. The staff was nice and navigating the roads with a big rig was easy. With MiMo ATT got around 8-10 download at the lowest but were generally higher. Upload was around 10. Verizon was even better, around 40 download and 15 upload.

  • Quiet park, sites are a little bit close

The park itself is set on lush rolling green landscaping with a really pretty pond. The grounds are kept very neat. There is a small swimming beach at the pond. There's also a long dog walk around the back and it was nice to have a good amount of walking for the dogs. The sites are a bit close together and we were on a full grass site. This makes leveling a bit tricky. We also had to drive through the grass to get to the site. I can imagine this would be problematic on really rainy/muddy days. 50 amp FHU with strong cable. The free wifi was really bad so we didn't use it. Cell hot spots were good. T mobile 15+ d/l, ATT 22d/l, and Verizon 29d/l.The bathrooms are not the greatest. They were old and had quite a lot of bugs/spiders in them. But they did keep them clean. There's also a small laundromat which we didn't use. Bulk propane is available and was reasonably priced and easy to get to.Location is right off the highway and roads in are in good condition and easy for even large rigs. Sites were easy to get into even w/ the oddity of driving through the grass. Roads inside the park are gravel.Grocery and shopping is convenient and there are plenty of things to do in the area.

The campsite arrangement is mixed between three long rows of full hookup sites and a bunch of other widely dispersed sites that mostly are just electric and water. We stayed in one of the rows. The rows are laid out where you are pretty close side by side but you have no one for a long distance in front or in back. The areas in front and back are either large open fields or trees. It was very quiet while we were there at night, during the day there was some construction going on outside the CG but it wasn't bad. There is laundry on site, 2 washer and 2 driers, we opted to go into Randolph which has two larger laundromats. Randolph also had a few restaurants but we didn't get out to try them. There is not a lot of recreation particularly close but you can get to Mt. Hunger or Camel's Hump for hiking within and hour. Montpellier is 25 minutes or so away with a great bar (Three Penny) and a fantastic market (Hunger Mountain). Verizon was LTE and fast.

Being close to the highway, it is a great base for exploring the area. The campground is terraced, which means everyone has a view. You are close to your neighbors on the sides, but there is absolutely no one behind or in front of you. That means the views of the pond and the surrounding hills can be enjoyed by most. It's a quiet place and well kept up. The owners take pride in this campground. That is very nice to see. The sites are all grass and well mowed. The roads are gravel. The WiFi was EXCELLENT. Verizon 4G was very good, with the tower within site of the campground. The swimming pond was small, but kids appreciate it. It has a small sandy beach and a sandy bottom. There a couple of bathrooms that we didn't use. There is also a laundry room with 2 washers and dryers, plus a game room. The playground needs updating. We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 days stay here. We would definitely stay here again.
