They do not enforce any of the rules and most people here are long-term or living permanently. While we were there, we noticed the police drove through a lot and were told that they had a car stolen recently from the park. One night we came back late after dark and found that someone had tried to unsuccessfully pop our door with a screwdriver. The gravel roads have enormous, deep, potholes. Do not go by the pictures on the website. It might have looked like that when built but no longer.

Shower and restrooms and laundry room nasty. No place for trash other than pickup in morning so all you're trash had to be stored inside your trailer. We had left early due to the winter storm that was heading into that area and they refused to refund any of our money. I can understand under normal circumstances but we couldn’t get stuck there and interstate 10 was shut down. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. It appears there are more full time residents there than visitors.

Omega Farms fit the bill. Our nightly rate was for a "deluxe" site after Good Sam discount. We picked the site because of a big tree that would protect us from the rest of the afternoon and it was totally worth the extra $6.It was a no frills place, but quiet, clean, and close to where we needed to be. The laundry room and showers were adequate and the older gentleman who checked us in was very nice. There was a sign out front saying that there would be music that night, but we had other plans so didn't get a chance to check it out.I dislike paying premium prices when we are just trying to overnight, and I'm glad we were able to find Omega Farms and pay for what we used, rather than the pool or game room that we wouldn't have time to use.
