There were some small trees planted and picnic tables between each site, but sites are very close together. Our table was 2 feet away from neighbor's sewer outlet! Laundry worked fine, but no one was in the office for several hours after I texted to ask if they could provide change for the machines. Very laid-back attitude overall about registering, collecting payment, and checkout time. We would return here if the state park was still unavailable for camping.

Please keep driving. No one on site to help. Laundry didn’t work. No internet. The only thing inviting was the other campers (a couple of long term ones)

We stayed 4 nights. Owner was very friendly and helpful. The park has WiFi, but the signal is weak.

  • Just fine for an overnight or two

This is your basic gravel parking lot RV park. Easy in and out. We parked in the overflow on grass, but we had electric and water. No cable at those sights. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Staff was friendly. Convenient to town and the area sights.

  • Overpriced for what you get

Site size is okay, but there are no trees large enough to provide shade there or any privacy. We needed levelers to get our rig flat. On arrival, I asked the manager about how their laundry was working, and he said all was working, so we decided to stay. However, the washers did not spin enough, and when we tried to find him, the office was locked (at 11 AM) and no one answered the "emergency" number. We bundled all the wet clothes up and drove 20 miles to Marfa (closest laundromat). There are several better options in this area, including Davis Mountains State Park (https://www.campendium.com/davis-mountains-state-park) and Prude Ranch (https://www.campendium.com/prude-ranch). This is a good one to avoid.
