Our site was FHU and Melinda is a great park manager and was always available and helpful. They are very forthright with their email updates on any happenings within the park. It's right in the middle of hill country while being only about a 15 minute drive away from anything you'd need in Dripping Springs, but be careful pulling out onto 290 as the speed limit is 70 mph. We are full-time remote workers and the cellular service for our wifi was great. There is a lot of wildlife and farm animals nearby including cows, horses, sheep, deer, axis, zebras and a donkey! The bathrooms are immaculate and, considering our hot water heater began leaking during our stay, it was a treat. We also recommend checking out Pedernales State Park which is only about a 10 minutes drive. Overall, we would not hesitate to stay here again if we're ever back in the area.,

Pulled in for a couple of days to visit a friend and the place is very nice. Shade trees at every site. Well laid out pads and excellent WiFi.

We enjoyed the park & would definitely stay again.Location - approx 10 minutes west of Dripping Springs, Tx. Just off of 290, less than a 1/2 mile to the highway. We found this to be super convenient for our needs but not noisy in the evenings.Amenities - the 3 shower/bath rooms were nicely tiled and clean. There’s also a laundry room with 4 sets of coin operated machines. Sites were crushed gravel material, and had a crown so they wouldn’t hold rain water. Hookups were clean & in good working condition.Nearby - HEB, Whataburger, Home Depot & Chase Bank are all located in Dripping Springs. Overall - we enjoyed our short stay, and would definitely consider staying again. Toys a quite park with longs of full timers, and there’s not much for kids to do here, but would be perfect for empty nesters, winter Texans, or a couples getaway.Bonus - if you like eating out, give Flores Tacos near Dripping Springs HS. They serve breakfast & lunch plates, tacos, & migas. Very low key, but worth the stop.

Everyone seems respectful (of each other, of covid restrictions, and of having dogs on leash), full hookups, shady spots (good for the Texas heat). Map is emailed prior to arrival so no contact with hosts but campground hosts are around (make circuits in a golf cart a couple of times a day).Overall a great spot to escape the city. Will definitely visit again!

This place is pretty awesome, not too far from Blanco Park which is we’re we were going for the day. Would definitely stay here again! Great even Pull thru sites which made setup super easy for us first timers.

I originally tried to stay at Sunset RV Park and they were full, but the person I talked to recommended I try Henly RV Park, which she said was their sister location. It was Christmas time and I was struggling to find a place to stay so I agreed. She warned me that the park was largely under construction, but since I was in a pinch I didn't really care. The construction here was definitely extensive. About half the park was being worked on the entire time I was here. It looked like they were mostly adding a bunch of new sites and doing rock work. I would guess in a couple months they will be completely done with it though, as the sites were mostly finished and people (like myself) were already staying in them. I've tried to disregard all of the construction in my rating because that is a temporary situation that hopefully won't be there for future campers, but if you're looking for a place in early 2020 and want peace and quiet, this probably isn't the place for you. If you wait until the construction is done, it should be great though. When I arrived the park had just gotten a ton of rain and it was very muddy. The pads are made out of some kind of crushed rock that is finer than gravel but more course than dirt. It was kind of unusual and was one of the only things I didn't really like about the park because I found that I was constantly tracking the stuff into my camper. It also seemed to rut when it was wet, so I'm not sure how the sites are going to be affected over time. The host, Sarah, was very easy to work with. Most of my communication with her was done through text. She even texted me several times checking in to make sure everything was going well and that my WiFi was working properly. The WiFi was much faster than most parks I've stayed at and was perfect for getting work done. The cell service here (Verizon) is also amazing and I had almost full bars the entire time. When I arrived the electric wasn't working at my site, so I texted Sarah and she had someone over fixing it within 5 minutes. I also had multiple staff members come introduce themselves and tell me to let them know if I needed anything. The service from the staff here was some of the best I've had at any RV park. The park offers many of the amenities you would expect such as trash, laundry, full hookups, and propane refills. I never used the laundry while I was here so I can't comment on that. I'm not sure if they had restrooms/showers as I didn't look for them, but I don't think they did. There weren't any picnic tables or fire rings on the newer side of the park where I was staying, but it sounded like they were going to be adding them soon. One thing I liked is that they just kept my credit card number on file and so when I requested an extra day they just charged it to my same card, and also when I had a propane tank filled they came and picked it up, filled it, and brought it back then just charged my card. It was really convenient not having to go in and pay each time. Overall I was really happy that they were able to get me a spot at this park during the busy holidays, and despite all of the construction I still really enjoyed my stay. It was convenient to get to a lot of stores and the breweries/wineries that are in the area, and was only about 30 miles from Austin. I think once all of the construction is complete this is going to be a great RV park.
