We stayed a week at the ICW (Intercostal waterway) RV park. Very quite, clean, and great fishing. Water park near by, Rockport beach and Padre Island just mins away. Great seafood at Paradise Key over looking the water. The Butter Churn Restauant for some delicious “Down home cooking. Water park and dog park near by but not in the RV park. The Maritime museum is a must see!!!! This is a no frills park but very quite and lots of thing to do close by. People in the park are real friendly.Big rig friendly. We arrived on Saturday after the office close, they said no problem just come be the office Monday. Pay for 6 nights , get the 7th free.
Like a very long parking lot

I stayed here in early March. The park is on a long, narrow peninsula with RV sites in one long row from the office to the bay. Nice wide concrete pads, but very little space between you and your neighbors. Most campers are winter Texans who pay monthly. Some have been there for years and have “added on” to their RVs. Lots of anglers with their boats and trailers. Very quiet park and nice staff. No bathrooms or showers that I could find. Seems to be a lot of concern for security, with locked gates and warning signs. Mickey’s Bar and Grill in the marina across the road is very good!
