Booked this place from May till September. Payed my first mouth no problem. After the first month I go into pay my bill for the next and what to I get. A whole bunch of bs.... first they tell me my spot is taken and I have to move. Then I ask why? They messed up and over booked my spot to someone else so now I have to leave? Why make reservations. We had a heated argument and they are in the wrong I showed them my receipt from last month clearly stating that I’ll be there till September. They acted like I was lying and told me 3 options. Leave they will call the cops or have my stuff towed. I laughed in there face and told them I’ll leave when I feel like it as I have to unexpectedly pack up. And told them good call the cops I’ve done nothing wrong. Story short don’t plan on them holding your reservations and look else where. I will never return and hope this honest review will help future victims from being put out because they can’t run there office even with automated computer? Btw I have a baby and now scrambling to find somewhere with some honesty.

This is not our usual RV experience, we are state and national park people. However, we love to fish at the Texas coast and decided to bring our travel trailer after looking at the VRBO rates. We were in a platinum site, which was long and wide enough for our travel trailer, 22’ bay boat, and two Ford pickups. This place is super clean, and had nice facilities for laundry & showers, and trash pickup was every morning. There are a lot of full timers and snow birds here, but they were all very nice to us and our dog. Staff was also super friendly and accommodating. The sites are more close together than we are accustomed to, but there is a narrow strip of grass between, and it is very quiet at night. Lots of palm trees, which was a nice tropical touch. I would suspect they wouldn’t like late night, loud parties here, but that is fine with us as we were tired after fishing all day. Walmart and Lowe’s very near, and it was a quick drive to several launch sites for our boat. They are serious about the 5 mph speed limit - we got a “reminder” once but we understand. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return.
