Had reservations for one night while doing the Natchez Parkway. Showed up and it was an open field with a lot of full time campers. The site we reserved was occupied and they wanted to move us to another site that had goats pinned behind us. Nope! We left and will dispute the charge.

A lot of full timers. No space between sites. Trashy. Big disappointment!

We came here because we just picked up our new Oliver trailer. Not very many campers and most of them living here permanently. We thought the price was high for a campground that offered no amenities, no Wi-Fi that we could pull in, no radio or tv channels. Muddy unleveled sites and muddy water connection in the ground. We had one bar in our cell connection and only because we had a booster.

  • Raining, so a muddle. Overpriced, no internet, next to a busy highway, but convenient to the Trace.

Remote from town, but just off from Natchez Trace exit.Rain causes a muddy site, no gravel, water connection in a muddy well. No sewer at site, but same price charged for sewered site. Expensive for no other services such as Internet. Not totally bad as weather was against it being good. But owners should do something about about improving site pads for when there is bad weather. Gravel would do nicely.

New owners Noel and Sheri Latus just took over Fall Hollow in October 2015, and spent the winter getting the restaurant and B&B rooms in shape. Their efforts paid off with a recent 100% rating on both. We were here to pick up our new Oliver Travel Trailer, and spent the 1st night in the B&B, and the second in the campground. What this place lacks in luxury is made up in friendliness. Breakfast with Noel left us knowing that Fall Hollow is just going to keep getting better. The campground is beside the beautiful Natchez Trace, and Hohenwald has a wonderful Mexican restaurant, Casa Grande. WiFi wasn't working, but our AT&T hotspot worked just fine.
