I've gone to a big medieval reenactment event held at Coopers Lake nearly every year since 1995..Coopers Lake used to be a more traditional campground with some RV spots and mostly primitive camping.. but some time in the last few years, they stopped opening to the public. Having literally spent 2 weeks a year for 22 of the last 24 years there, this is a second home to me in many ways... the Cooper family who owns the campground has always been amazing and the event I attend (Pennsic War) has on the order of 10,000 to 14,000 attendees every year.
