This used to be a great place to spend some time in Pacific City. Then they began gentrifying the place by kicking out long-term residents, hiking up the prices, and filling the best spots in the park with hipster Airstreams for rent. Same gravel spaces with no privacy, charm, or vegetation but now twice the price.
Well kept, but...

But...our site 13 was one of the most difficult we have encountered in terms of getting level. There is a large dip in the middle making side to side leveling a challenge. Also, the cable tv here does not work. No signal at all at site 13 and very scratchy cable using the site next door. Our neighbor also said theirs was not good. And, of, course the WiFi did not work well. Staff was very friendly.
Okay site

You are about a 2 min walk from Pelican Brewing, Pacific City Beach and Cape Kiawanda sand dunes. This is the reason that I would return to this campsite. The site itself is relatively quiet. We never encountered noise from other campers here although we could hear noise from both of the neighboring campsites.Hart’s Camp is relatively clean and well kept but it misses the mark big time by essentially just being a gravel parking lot with hookups. If you like open air spots with ZERO privacy this is the place for you. Personally, I’d rather have a little more space between RV’s and a little shade.
Friendly, clean, welcoming

Heart camp so far is our favorite RV spot!! Full hook ups, clean showers, fast WiFi. Verizon works well here. Our first time was at the beginning of Oct. for 2 nights we paid around $35 a night then. Our 2nd time through was last week for 4 nights at $26 a night. We will most certainly stay again!
I think this will be a nice place but it’s not there yet

But the other RV park and county park have the same walk and are much cheaper. They advertise having only 16 RV sites in addition to 8 airstreams you can rent. What they don’t mention is there are also about 20 resident RVs. They are advertising and charging it like a resort and they are in the process of renovating it, but while we stayed (Labor Day 2018) it was essentially a gravel parking lot with hook ups and construction. Their WiFi wasn’t terrible and at non peak times was about as good as our AT&T hotspot
