Bathrooms and showers are immaculate. It's a mix of seasonals and travelers, but there is nothing negative to say about the folks who live here. All friendly, all well kept sites. Some road noise since it's fairly close to I-5, but nothing that bothered us at all.We stayed in a pull through full hookup site with extremely easy access. We did a day trip to Crater Lake National Park which is an easy 90 minute drive from the campground. We also did the Hellgate Jetboat excursion on the Rogue River, which was a blast and well worth the price. If you want hot freshly made food at fair prices try the Foots Creek Deli Market just 1.5 miles up the road.

Overnight spots are short as you could not park a 35' 5th wheel and truck together. The manager told us where to park our truck. We followed his instructions. Within a couple minutes, along comes a second manager, and she begins knocking on the side of our rv and told us that the other manager doesn't know what he was talking about when he told us where to park our truck...she is very very rude. The quote was "YOU CAN'T PARK THAT TRUCK THERE, MOVE IT."The park itself is okay for a one night stay, but you better make sure your rig fits completely in your spot. Bottom line, we feel If you are passing through Gold Hill, pass this park by and head to the next one.
The nicest people on earth.

It was after hours and I was having a hard time getting much information about any of the campgrounds or RV parks in the area. When I called Cypress Grove I'm pretty sure I interrupted their dinner, but they answered and said that although the office was closed, they'd help us out. When we got there a very nice man was waiting for us. Outside. In the snow. He guided us in with a flashlight and opened up the office to process our payment. He then guided us to our campsite and made sure we had everything we needed. The sites are close together but there are some trees and it is clean and well cared for. The showers were clean as well. The park is right off I-5, but we weren't bothered by road noise. Our destination campgrounds are usually more remote and wooded than this, but I'm so grateful for the way the owners took care of us late at night in bad weather. I'd happily stay here again.
