Nice KOA with all the essential amenities. Clean showers/bathrooms. Has laundry for $1.75/load. The pool was open when we were here (early June) it’s not heated though. Very quiet campground, did not see a lot of kids running around. ATT and Verizon both worked good

  • Nicely run older KOA. Near the Rouge River

Except for distant highway noise, it was quiet and pastoral. Nice end of the row pull- through site with views of the surrounding hills. Pool was closed but laundry was clean and well maintained. There were some full-timers there, but in a separate section. None seemed sketchy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, a good experience. T-mobile 5G service at 4 bars. Camp wi-fi was good except in the early evening when the bandwidth was challenged.

Medford shopping is 15 minutes away ... the ONLY negative is that the town of Gold Hill has no restaurants, so Rogue River or Medford are the restaurant options. We adjusted the length of our stay twice, and the staff was very accommodating. We WILL stay here again every time we come through. Wi-Fi is good, and great if you are near the office. Rates charged are reasonable for the southern Oregon area.

We landed here on an hours notice and the staff did a great job of getting us checked in and then made sure we were in our site comfortably. The kids enjoyed the small playground and we appreciated the clean laundry area that was open till 10. There was a small arcade area with a few games and a pool table. Our site did not have a fire ring but there was a community area that did. We didn't go to it but I was glad to see it. The staff here made this place a great experience. The river and a few public access spots are nearby. As the other review said the highway is far enough away that we didn't hear it. WiFi worked well and was free.

Awesome KOA! All of the sites were spacious, shaded and big-rig friendly. Older crowd, so not a lot of kids running around screaming. Far enough off the road that there wasn't highway noise. All of the sites were spacious, shaded and big-rig friendly. Older crowd, so not a lot of kids running around screaming. Far enough off the road that there wasn't highway noise. Surrounded by dairy farms and blackberry bushes. Close to small town of Gold Hill, the Rogue River, and an easy on/off to I5 to get to Medford or Grant's Pass. Beautiful close drive to the Appelgate Valley wineries and Jacksonville. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Grounds were clean and well kept. WiFi wasn't great, but it was enough to check email and read the news.
