The space was tight (see the photo) on the passenger's side and I could barely set out my mat without encroaching on my neighbor. No table or fire ring. Most people here are full-time residents, I met and chatted with some of them who have been very long-term residents. There were really no amenities besides a laundry room (that was locked) and bathrooms. I took a star off cleanliness because of the standing rain water. There doesn't seem to have the rain water drain from your site so you're in standing puddles until they dry up.
We canceled our stay early!

Unfortunately this campground just was not set up very well for enjoying our vacation outside. The sites were full hookups which was good. However, they had no room for picnic tables, fire ring or our camping chairs. We felt like they were set up for long term residents as most of the RV there were old, run down units that likely had been in place for many years. When several of our neighbors were arguing loudly, cursing at each other and playing loud rap music, we decided to find another place. The staff fully refunded our money and were very respectful of our decision. We felt bad, but this place we a bit too sketchy for our comfort level.
Great people run this campground!

This is a weird review, because we didn't get to stay here. We made our reservations then needed to change them three times. No matter how much of a pain in the neck we became, Nita was always understanding, patient, and flexible. Then, due to a family situation, we cancelled our stay the day we were supposed to show up. Now, from their perspective, that had to be horrible--who knows if they had already turned down people that same day to save our spot for us?--but they were once again very understanding about our situation. We may never get to stay there because we are heading for another part of the country, but I cannot overemphasize how wonderful the staff at this campground has been! Also, this is one of the rare campgrounds that will assure you they offer reliable Wi-Fi and good cell phone signal; most skirt the issue but this location promises to provide (again I can't speak from experience since we never got to stay there). That said, please realize that this is not a beachfront or beach-adjacent property. You can drive to the Harris Beach State Park entrance in just a few minutes, but it would be an inconvenient walk along Highway 101 which could become dangerous if you are walking a dog or two. So if you are all about the beach, this may not be the property for you.
