This was a clean, fairly new, well kept campground. The spots were level and the staff was friendly.

The site was medium sized with concrete pad that was slightly off level. Many of the sites, including the river view sites, are blind back-ins. There are some pull thru sites at the front. Access to I-10 was excellent. Verizon cell service was poor to miserable - 2 bars at best, one bar at night. We could not connect to the park wifi and it was turned off late at night. Do not stay during periods of heavy rain as this is a river bottom park; management stressed that if flooding occurred there would be no refund. We had a lot of rain and spent quite a bit of time watching the river rise. Noisy from I-10 and nearby ATV area.

We stayed here the night of April 5, 2019. It is about 1.5 miles off the interstate but it is worth the drive. The place is very clean and the people are nice. The location is right on the river and not more than a 5 minute walk from anywhere in the park. This would be a good place to spend several days relaxing.

  • Nice park, convenient to both Mobile and Pensacola.

We stayed here a week while exploring both Pensacola and Mobile. It's a 30 minute to either via I-10. Access to the Gulf Coast is also easy. This is a well maintained park, and is very quiet. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean and modern. Rate reflects weekly stay, on a riverfront site.
