Stayed here over a weekend with our new camper and will definitely be staying again. I was able to book a site the same week we needed it, so availability on short notice was great! They are taking the COVID recommendations very seriously which is wonderful and made us feel very comfortable. The front office, bathrooms, rec room, swimming and fishing areas were all closed due to COVID, so I can't comment on some of that, but we were happy they were taking the guidelines seriously! This place is mostly seasonal campers, which we really enjoyed. Absolutely no loud partiers. Just nice friendly folks who waved to us as they passed here and there. We chatted a bit with folks while walking our dog too. Felt so much like home away from home. It's a small place and perfect if you just like a good simple setup without a lot of frills. They offered firewood at a really wonderful price, too. The owners are a couple who inherited the campground from family and have kept it going for years. Very nice folks. They gave us a great, huge site, and really there's not a bad site here. Some wooded, some open, just request what you'd like and they'll accommodate as they can. All are nice large sites. I suppose the only possibly complaint we could have is that our site's sewer was not usable when we were there, but since we were only there a few days it didn't matter to us. We just used their dump station on the way out, which was nice and clean and a good setup. We enjoyed it so much we're considering trying to get a seasonal site here someday! Will be back! They also offer a Good Sam discount for those who are members.
