The park had doggie stations with poo bags and a disposal can. We had full hook up. The water pressure was terrible. Minimal “amenities.” There were 2 portapotties, no flush toilets or sinks. No shower facilities. It was raining and there were lots of puddles and mud where the pads and road need more gravel. This is the most I ever paid for a campsite and it was no more than adequate for the 1 night stay.

Really nice compound with RV sites and some groovy (and really pricey) modern rental cabins . Had dinner at the restaurant next door. Didn’t love Jackson so much but this was a good stay!

Leaving YNP we weren't sure where we were going to sleep, but we knew we needed hookups. Our motor home batteries were dead after 5 days of non-electric sites. We headed out of the park and down towards Tetons. All the campgrounds were full. Luckily we had free WIFI at the Flagg Ranch Lodge and was able to get on Campendium to find a site. We found this place and wearily headed over - not expecting much based on reviews. Let me tell you - the reviews were wrong!! The road from the Tetons to this little gem bypassed the town of Jackson to meander you through beautiful farmland with quintessential mountains and fences along the way. We pulled in to this place, the Firestone Resort, and were mesmerized at the entrance. Grand trees wrapped in white fairy lights lined the driveway. (I felt like I was at a wedding) Nestled in between the large oak trees were gorgeous tiny house cabins. We passed under the large wooden-bridge style arch which is next to the tiny but gorgeous pond with cattails and lily pads and an outdoor spa area. There's also a fire pit next to the spa so you and friends can enjoy soaking under the stars, and chatting in adirondak chairs around the fire. Spa was super clean and large. Fits about 15 people. We checked in - she was ready for us - super friendly - gave us the WIFI password, Bathroom code, Spa code, and a map of the complex. The cabins rent for $3-500/night BTW.We pulled into our site. It had electric hookups, a table, a fire pit and a darling old fashioned pump for water. Yes - my neighbor was literally 10 feet away. But they were so adorable - They had "Just Married" (2 days earlier) and "The Smiths" written on the windows of the camper. It was a gravel pull through site so it was really easy to navigate - much easier than the back in sites of the national parks we had been staying in. The lady at the desk told me the spa closed at 9 only after I asked about it, but also added they weren't strict about it. We enjoyed our soaking under the stars while the sound of the wind rustled through the trees. Seriously!, After 4 days in the National Parks without any reception, and looking at beautiful pools of bubbling water - this was HEAVEN!!! We got back to our RV and enjoyed catching up on emails and texts while watching a newly purchased DVD on Yellowstone. We get the best DVDs from the visitor center gift shops in the National Parks we visit. We stayed 2 nights - walking around the shops of Jackson and visiting the Tetons again while we were there. It's a really good location for accessing both! And for the cherry on top - right next door is a park called Rendezvous Park. In the morning, my husband went running on the miles of trails nearby. He went through this park and saw the most incredible "woman" built from wood by the shore of the lake. Definitely a MUST SEE if you can. I would definitely stay here again!

In reality this is like a stay in a sardine can, I can almost touch the 5th wheel next to me. Was quiet all night but screaming children today. Staff were nice, but when I asked how they assigned spaces was told that it was totally random. Saw two really nice empty spaces, but could not move into them because they were “full-up.” No changing from the assigned space, was told I could phone next time to request a space but that it was not guaranteed. Next time I will go for an off-grid wilderness experience. WiFi is good, no T-Mobile cell reception at all.

The park is very pretty with trees and grass and lovely trendy cabins for rent. The ground was level. The front desk was extremely helpful and printed us bus schedules since it is hard to park downtown. We didn't work from this park, but the cell signal was good enough to work from. Would definitely stay again and would have given it 5 stars but for the price.⭐ Follow me on Instagram @Airstreaming_Schnauzer

Be aware that the Jackson traffic is horrible as most of it is 2 lane roads. So it will extend getting to/from the campground. It was quiet. The grounds are well kept. The sites are gravel with a parallel swath of grass. Picnic tables. The fire rings are in the process of being replaced. You can use your own like a Solo Stove. We had electric only. Lucked out with a pull thru site with a water spigot at the end. Made it easy to fill the water tank. The wi-fi is excellent even in the evening when everyone is back. Nothing went wrong so we did not have to interact with the staff other than check-in which went smoothly. A lot of sites have shade especially the ones along the parameter. We did see a moose pass through one evening!

Electric was available on site and there was a water fill station near the bathrooms. In winter, they close the men’s bathroom, but leave the women’s and shared family bathroom open. The family bathroom has separate showers and stalls, but is awkward as a man to walk into the shared bathroom when a family with kids are trying to get a shower. We explained this to the office manager and she agreed to credit us if we decided to leave early (which we did). The bathrooms were in good workable condition, but should be better considering the nightly rate. Overall, we loved our time in Jackson and this campground was a nice home base for us at the time. However, we will be staying at the nearby national forest campgrounds if we ever come back during the spring, summer, or fall.

Currently, we are full-time, location independent, perpetual travelers, roaming around North America. We have chosen the Jackson Hole Campground @ Fireside Resort due to its proximity to Jackson Hole Ski Resort (1-mile)WHAT OTHERS ARE LIKELY TO EXPERIENCEArriving, during a snowstorm, we had to utilize our snow socks to get us safely up and over the mountain passes. That said, I have no nails left on my fingers, as it was quite the experience.Upon arrival, the resort rolled out the red carpet, offering us a tour of the property, while also suggesting we choose our specific spot. Due to the amount of snow the park had received over the last couple days, although the park itself was still very much at work in regards to snow maintenance, our chose spot had to yet been cleared of snow.It was then, they brought out a team of people to plow and shovel the site of the feet of snow. Once we settled our BiG RiG into her spot, the team once again came around and throughout our stay to shovel around the BiG RiG keeper our paths clear of freshly fallen snow. This being the winter season, we had our 30/50 amp services although no sewer or running water. for us we run dry during the winter months so that was no a necessity for us. Additionally, to the winter experience was daily rig-side trash pick-up, bath-houses with heated floors and water near he bathhouses to fill either our jugs or a pressure push for our BiG RiG.SPECIAL EXPERIENCEWe found the greatest amenity to be the driver at our beck-n-call. Simply by calling and requesting a pick up at our BiG RiG, we had our driver take us to and from skiing. What a great amenity as to enjoy not only the great skiing, but also the apr'ed afterwards without liability.During the winter months there were only a few campers on property during out stay. Therefore our on property experience was super quiet and everything was exceptional clean. We utilized our AT&T without boost as well as the campground WiFi that for us, during our stay was more than adequate.Feeling like VIPs upon arrival, a tour of the property, our snow removers, bathhouse heated floors and our personal driver demanded a rating of RATING - CAMPING EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONSIf you would be interested in reading about the locations mentioned within this camping review, our near death experiences, our close calls, our lessons learned on the road, our campground reviews or about our top secret free camping locations, be sure to follow us...Destination Dupont - InstagramDestination DuPont - FacebookWWW.DestinationDuPont.com - WebsiteCAMPED MARCH 2018POSTED SEPTEMBER 1018

The driveway into the park was a one lane driveway (approximately one block long), so if you happen to meet someone leaving as you were pulling in, not sure what would happen. Overall a very tight place to pull a large rig into. The only thing going for this place is the view, other than that, just an average park.

We made the reservation while in Yellowstone. $300 up front with no issues making the reservation. The day before we were to leave the South Gate was closed due to fire for a unspecified amount of time. Calling to cancel we were informed that we would not get any of the $300 credited. We were told that there were more than one road into Jackson hole. If you look at a map you will understand why this was not acceptable. We tried to work this out so that we might get part of the money credited. Long story short; it took till December for our bank to credit the total amount.

The campground isn't too bad, but considering how expensive it is, I expected a lot more. $99 night for a "standard" site, which is there least expensive category. The general area is beautiful, but once you get into your site you find yourself about 8 feet away from your neighbor and looking out at their sewage line. There was zero appeal for spending any time outside at our site, which is what I wanted from a pricy campsite a bit out of town. It is nominally more attractive than the Virginian (located in town of Jackson Hole), but I would much rather stay at the Virginian for the optimum location. The name of this place is confusing--it is part of the Fireside Resort, but has a separate website. I've seen it written "Jackson Hole Campground at Fireside Resort" or just "Fireside Resort". Pros:Staff is friendly Bike path network around the area is fantastic--ride your bike (5 miles) to Teton Village or Aspen Market (cute natural food shop) (2.5 miles)LaundryFront desk sells basic convenience items Cons: ExpensiveYou must pay your stay in advance in full, any cancellation incurs $25 feeSites close togetherworse than no view--looking over your neighbors sewage line that runs between your narrow strip of grassNo appeal for spending time at your site outsideWifi didn't work
